“A very welcoming restaurant with friendly wait staff and hostess. The food was delicious and a good value for the price fixed. We had fig carpaccio, roasted pumpkin with quail, duck and the mixed grill. The only thing we didn't really enjoy was the rice that came with the mixed grill. We felt the flavors did not go well together. The crème brûlée and poached pear were very enjoyable desserts“

“We had a fantastic dinner at the Brewhouse last night. The food, service was excellent. Our server did a very good job. We highly recommend this place. Our only complaint was that we spent in excess of $200 for dinner and drinks, we were charged .50 cents for an additional dressing for the Baja Chicken bowl. Seriously the management feels the need to charge this after pouring it from a giant container in the kitchen?? We were told that this the policy. Management/owner should review this absurd charge after you spend decent money. This should be absorbed elsewhere and not openly charged to customers on the bill.
$27.00 dish and you cant include two tablespoons of sauce?

Otherwise a great place to have dinner with family and friends.“

“This was my first (and won’t be my last ) visit to Drifters Kitchen and Bar. I had the Stuffed Shrimp and Key Lime Pie. Everything was delicious. From the way the food was plated , the delivery to the table, the waitstaff ( Danielle our waitress) and perfectly cooked food. I can’t say enough.“

Other than a few hiccups that happened, like the passed hors d'oeuvre ended at an hour when we were told it would go on until people stopped taking them, everth8ng else was well done. Parking: Location was difficult to find parking and the way the parking lot is very difficult to maneuver“

“I had a wonderful experience at Ford’s Garage thanks to our waiter, Matteo. He was extremely thorough in explaining what menu items were gluten-free and took great care to ensure there was no cross-contamination. I really appreciated his attention to detail and how knowledgeable he was about the menu. Matteo checked in with us just the right amount—often enough to make sure we had everything we needed, but never intrusive. He was friendly, professional, and clearly takes pride in his work. I can only assume that they are used to 5* hotels surrounded by “things to do”. If you want a little adventure and beautiful scenery and quiet then this is your place. “Waitress doubled tip that we left on card. The Friendly’s in Shirley - food was good. It appears the waitress doubled her tip (the tip usually gets posted to the card at and of day separate from bill which is posted immediately). She was young pleasant, light skin, light brown hair with patches of blue and green in her hair. No where near worth a 16 dollar tip.“

“This Applebee’s is probably the nicest one I’ve ever been to!
Went as a large group for lunch, and didn’t call ahead (apologies wasn’t my idea!) but they were very accommodating and everything still came out fast.
The food was very good, and as I mentioned did not take long from order time to table. Portion sizes are also very large for the price! Looking at $10-$20 per person without drinks. (Average for our group was about $15 before drinks)
The waitress was very nice, and spent an appropriate amount of time checking on our table to refill drinks and see if we needed anything. Never felt like I had to ask for anything, and also served everyone a water which I always think is a nice touch.
Overall, great spot to grab lunch. The deals they have during the week also make it a great spot to go during a lunch break. Super sad I’m visiting as I’d love to come here again.“

“Wanted to give a huge shout out to the Tap Room (Patchogue) (specifically the Patchogue location). We were invited to a family party, buffet-style. I reached out to the restaurant via email, because I wanted to make sure they could accommodate my daughters food allergies -- eggs, soy, sunflower seeds, tree nuts and peanuts, or I would plan ahead and pack snacks she could safely eat instead. The Culinary Director, Joseph Walsh, called me the next day. He spoke to me for awhile, went over her food allergies, made some suggestions, and assured me that he would come up with something she could safely eat. The morning of the party, he sent me an email to confirm we were coming and his suggestions for a safe meal (rice and beans sauteed with bell peppers, chicken cutlet w/ no egg, and a mixed fruit salad). I emailed him back that just rice and beans and the fruit salad would be fine, because she doesn't eat chicken. He emailed me back, concerned that rice and beans and a fruit salad wouldn't be enough, but I assured him it would be fine because she's only 7 and has anxiety over trying new foods at restaurants (understandably), so sticking with rice and beans and fruit salad, which she's comfortable with, would be perfect. At the event, Joseph told my relative that he wanted to talk to us, and when we arrived, he came to introduce himself, told me that he was making sure everything was prepared separately and would be ready for her shortly. Absolutely fantastic service. We truly, truly appreciated all his care and effort, because that's sadly not the norm most of the time when we try to eat out. “I had an issue on uber eats where my food wasn’t made correctly from a separate location. I called and honestly wasn’t the kindest at first because I thought I wasted my money. Both the worker at the front and Kevin the owner were so so kind despite it and helped this issue and made me a new order for half off. They were extremely kind and caring and I apologized over and over for my mistake as I also didn’t realize it was a separate location. They were so kind and so helpful I really appreciate their help as well as how this was handled.“
