“This Applebee’s is probably the nicest one I’ve ever been to!
Went as a large group for lunch, and didn’t call ahead (apologies wasn’t my idea!) but they were very accommodating and everything still came out fast.
The food was very good, and as I mentioned did not take long from order time to table. Portion sizes are also very large for the price! Looking at $10-$20 per person without drinks. (Average for our group was about $15 before drinks)
The waitress was very nice, and spent an appropriate amount of time checking on our table to refill drinks and see if we needed anything. Never felt like I had to ask for anything, and also served everyone a water which I always think is a nice touch.
Overall, great spot to grab lunch. The deals they have during the week also make it a great spot to go during a lunch break. Super sad I’m visiting as I’d love to come here again.“

“Waitress doubled tip that we left on card. The Friendly’s in Shirley - food was good. It appears the waitress doubled her tip (the tip usually gets posted to the card at and of day separate from bill which is posted immediately). She was young pleasant, light skin, light brown hair with patches of blue and green in her hair. No where near worth a 16 dollar tip.“

I am handicap, I use a walker and sometimes a wheelchair and your place is not accessible The ramp is steep and you cannot get to the rest rooms. “On a Saturday night, I decided to visit a restaurant that I had heard great things about. To my surprise, the restaurant was nearly empty, but it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences I've ever had.

Stepping inside, the restaurant exuded a different vibe right from the start. The ambiance music set the perfect tone – not too loud, not too soft. It was clear that this was a place where you could relax and have a conversation without any distractions.

The service was top-notch. The staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and professional. It's no wonder that they have a 4.9-star rating – they truly deserve it.

Now, let's talk about the food. To start off, they brought out complimentary bread that was absolutely delicious. For appetizers, we ordered the ceviche, which was incredibly fresh and had a delightful kick reminiscent of Peruvian ceviche. We also tried the avocado crab salad, which had a unique and fantastic flavor profile. There was another appetizer, the name of which I can't recall, but I absolutely loved it.

When it came to our entrees, I sought a recommendation from our server who suggested the duck. It was an excellent choice – the duck was absolutely delicious. My partner opted for a lobster dish with sweet corn puree that was truly divine.

We couldn't resist trying a dessert, so we ordered the napoleon. Let me tell you, you HAVE to try it! It was simply amazing, and I still find myself dreaming about it.

To top it all off, the Owner/Chef was incredibly nice. He took the time to visit each table, ensuring that everything was running smoothly. This attention to detail truly made our dining experience remarkable.“

“My family and I went backcountry camping in the wilderness section of the campground. The beach was beautiful with lots of interesting finds from the ocean! It can get very cold and windy, so keep that in mind when planning your attire and camp set up.

We also stumbled across an interesting arrangement of props that could either be a ritualistic site of a religion I don't know about or an art exhibit. Still pretty cool though!“

“Painter's does a great job decorating for the season & supporting the community. When you visit the staff is attentive & knowledgeable. We often hang at the bar for drinks and apps unless we have the fam with us. Both experiences have been enjoyable on multiple occasions. Would highly recommend for a nice comfortable night out. Starting from the Chefs welcoming homemade flat bread to the Margherita Pizza ( ask for the spiced honey for the pizza ) which was cooked perfectly giving the crust the old school crunch just like the city scrumptious appetizers the tuna tataki was delicious the best I've eaten yet as well as their specialty sushi rolls . Superb!! Dinner was a hard choice to pick however , I've tried a few dishes here the Salmon has a mild chili flavor making the dish that more exciting along with the flavor filled sides . My husband had the chicken Milanese which I cant begin to tell you the breaded cutlet covered the entire (not to thick not to thin ) dish with a refreshing arugula topping adjoining it with a delightful balsamic vinegar dressing . The linguine and clam sauce also made it to the table having a unique flavor of the chefs . Absolutely satisfying. Next time I may even ask if they can add toasted bread crumbs on top. Dessert OMG so they have a crumb apple tart / cake served with a side of ice cream and drizzled with Carmel - OK so here's when I wish I started dinner with this . Outstanding! Ending the evening with a double expresso and a perfect rind of lemon a companied by a nice glass of Sambuca (I was impressed when I asked for coffee beans and they had them ) I knew right there I'd be back sooner than later . You need to try that desert we wanted seconds but couldn't do it after all the food we had as the portions are big. The menu offers a nice selection of food. We enjoy the weekdays here for downtime the ambiance is relaxing . To where on the weekends we enjoy dinner and music here . So much fun ! Good people ! Great Chef! Enjoy!! Bon Appetite!!!“
