“One of my favorite restaurants! Every course offers great choices. Our daughter is vegan and there is always one or 2 options available for her, as well. The fish and meat are always accompanied by flavorful, interesting vegetables and starches. The wine options are plentiful. The decor is both attractive and comfortable with tables distanced for personal space. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and well established. Really nice dining experience.“
“I arrived just after they closed, but they offered to make me a sandwich anyway, I picked the tuna lettus and tomato, asked me if I wanted macaroni or coleslaw since I was driving and honestly am not a fan of either, they let me get a bag of cheetos. the made the sandwich and the Tuna sandwich was amazing! now stop for just a minute and think back the entirety of your life, have you ever heard the phrase the tuna sandwich was amazing? probably not, but this one was great. maybe because it was amazing or maybe i was really hungry, but I think it was both. it was a really good sandwich. the people were nice, and the place had an enjoyable atmosphere, I'll be back for a $100 burger. they aren't $100 it's a pilot's expression. but I will be back.“
“Went here for the first time. I was immediately impressed by the fact that when I ordered a lamb gyro they cooked/heated up the meat along with the gyro flatbread on the grill. This way my sandwich was piping hot and tasted fresher than places that usally keep a hot tray for the meats and dish it out. Service was also friendly. I will be back!“
“My first time there, of course I didn’t know what to expect. The woman behind the counter let me know she’d be right with me since I had been waiting in line while she was busy preparing other’s food. I appreciated that. It’s obviously a family-run business and that’s very admirable. It was so cute seeing the little toddler daughter behind the counter interacting with her mother. Anyway the food was very tasty and the woman did not skimp on anything, not even the oxtails. The prices are on the high side, but the portion sizes are respectable considering that. I will go back and I recommend this restaurant to anyone who happens to be in the Medford NY area of Long Island“
“We spent valentines at one of our favorite local places yesterday, it was really busy our reservation was at 7 the height of dinner rush. We enjoyed every aspect of JC’s from the hostess to the servers to the much needed delicious dinner and ambiance! We started with chicken nachos and garlic bread, main course we had Norwegian lamb chops on a mountain of potatoes yum! I ordered the panko chicken with baby rigatonis peas buratta in a sherry sauce and what a trip to flavor town! The food here never disappoints even when we order takeout it’s always delicious. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner what a lovely hard working lady! All that she does to provide the best experience shines bright through her staff and patrons. We tested out little cheese cakes that were outrageous I don’t even like cheesecake and I ate them at first not knowing what they were. they were creamy and yummy and delicious I didn’t know I could like something so much that I didn’t like anywhere else. The strawberry was Huge and I ate every last bit we were stuffed I had to take home almost half of my dinner which we ate today! “Visited for dinner on a Saturday night. Started by ordering drinks, Bourb-Berry and their cider cinnamon drink. Both were extremely enjoyable and tasty, a good size drink without been overpriced. For starters we shared the buttermilk fried chicken which was very satisfying and a good portion to share between 2 people. Our main meals were their old fields burger and squid ink linguine. Both meals were great and very tasteful. Service was very good, our waiter was very friendly and visited our table often to ensure everything was up to our liking. I would highly recommend giving this restaurant a try if you are in the area.“

“The food we got was delicious. My wife had the cauliflower crust flatbread, which was a little sweeter than she expected because of the jam on it, but still very good, and I had the fish and chips. The dunks were also very good and the ambiance was a lot of fun. We sat at the high tops in the bar which is more of the loud and a lot going on seeing...because it's a bar of course which is what we wanted that night, however there were much much quieter and low key tables in the back of the restaurant for the sit down eating experience. This one is now added to our regular list of places to go.“

“Seating area has shade, but not much elsewhere. Food is somewhat pricey given the fact that it's on the beach. Outdoor bar. You can only drink in the designated areas because of New York State laws. Excellent for laying on the beach and watching sunsets (Note: Long Island North Shore is somewhat rocky).Another side note: Last time I was here the bar area, they had somewhat of a bee issue. Apparently they've discovered that there are sugars and protein to be had, so they come around. No one was stung last I saw.“

“We have a tradition of coming here for st pattys day because my hubby does not eat red meat. He always getfs his turkey burger and is happy. I was estatic to see fried pickles on the menu. I got the pickles, seafood bisque, caesar salad and a corned beef sandwich. EVERYTHING was fresh, came out hot and was delicious. It can get loud but it was st pattys day after all. Normally when I go to a Jamaican restaurants I'm ready to fight because the person behind the counter always has a bad attitude but here...the gentleman was kind, courteous and patient while I did the "can i get uhhhhh ummmmm" looking at the menu. I ordered 3 days in a row at different times to ensure it wasn't a fluke. The j*** chicken and pork were Consistently, flavorful, juicy and tender. I had to go into rehab to detox because $30 a day isn't sustainable. Was going to go today but they seem to be closed on Mondays. Can't wait to go back. I'm happy they car to our community.“

Then for appetizer had the crab cakes, loaded with crab topped with Aioli sauce, best I’ve ever had. Then had the fillet mignon with lobster tail, fillet had a good amount of gristle in the middle that I had to work around, other than that it was very good. Lobster tail was presented and seasoned very well in some sort of marinated butter, wine and garlic which I thought was top notch of flavor and tenderness. Came with the mash potatoes another good choice some of the best made. I can’t forget their delicious homemade multi grain bread which was very good. For last desert opted for the Crème Brûlée topped off with fresh made whipped cream, awesome. Let me also mention about our waitress very friendly and accommodating, great customer service.Overall had a very enjoyable and unforgettable experience at Nantucket's other than the fillet not being completely satisfied I give it the Cardillo Scale Rating Review of 4.8 out of 5. “This place was well staffed. I went on the night before Thanksgiving and it was packed like most bars are that night. However, unlike most places this place didn't leave anyone unattended. The women behind the bar worked quickly to serve everyone.The food was very good! Much better quality than most bars.The only downside of this place is the filthy women's bathroom with a broken door. It could use some cleaning and fixing up.All in all, a great place with a welcoming atmosphere and a great staff!“
