“Ive always love checkers since I was a kid and this location has always been a favor for people around here. There's a large outdoor sitting area. That's nice for lunch during the summer. Every time I go here, no matter what time of day the staff is always extremely friendly and put out the food quick too. You also have to try the fries !“

I am handicap, I use a walker and sometimes a wheelchair and your place is not accessible The ramp is steep and you cannot get to the rest rooms. I’m sure you don’t have many complaints regarding this issue, but I would love to be able to enjoy your tiki bar/ restaurant once again. Thank you !“

“What a spectacular hidden gem of a restaurant! I'll go anywhere for a good duck breast, this place absolutely delivered 110%. Right amount of char, the seasoning, and it was cooked to perfection. Smoked salmon and burrata apps were delicious. We couldn't be happier with the very attentive service, quaint atmosphere - and the food was really on point for such an unassuming location. Also, the hot rice pudding with golden raisins was fantastic, as close to grandmas recipe as I can remember coming across! Keep up the spectacular work!“

“The food was excellent, and the bus staff was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, our waitress was not very warm or inviting, which affected the overall experience. After she brought us the bill, we waited around 10 minutes for our card to be processed while she was doing side work, and eventually another staff member had to run it for us. It just felt a little odd to be left waiting that long when we were ready to pay and leave. Overall, the food was great, but the service could have been more welcoming and attentive.“

“I became a regular diner to Riley’s a couple of years ago. Gotta tell ya, the food is as good as any high restaurant I eat at and I dine out a lot. Fun, delicious, quality menu that has never once disappointed on any item, ever. Yes it is mostly basic pub food but so are 50% of the restaurants on Long Island now and Fibbers is perfect and priced more than fair. Can’t remember the servers but the two ladies are always right there, refills on drinks, food on time and always with a smile regardless how busy they are. Come back soon guys! “We were there for my friend's baby shower. The food was excellent and we got a large selection of dishes. Our waitress, Nicole, was an absolute rockstar!! She helped with set up, made sure everyone had what they needed, and even helped calm down my friend's nephew who was having a bit of a meltdown. Would 100% recommend anyone to have an event there!“

I wrote and email expressing my concern , which they responded quickly and tried connecting on the phone but they dropped the ball and did not respond to my follow up call nor my follow up email week has gone by. It’s nice in there I would’ve considered returning.

Tim, the manager called again and we had a nice conversation that I much appreciated. Offered gift card which was very kind. Sometimes things happen, if I business is willing to make it right and show humility it’s a good business. “I just ordered wings tonight through DoorDash. And there was a mix up with my order. But the kind lady from Atomic wings (miller place location) was so sweet and contacted DoorDash immediately to get in touch with me. Once I called she immediately apologized and insisted on personally delivering the correct order. There aren’t many kind people in the world, but that woman is a complete angel. I wish I had gotten her name to give her a shout out. But I can’t thank her enough for her kindness!!! I hope she sees this and knows how incredible she is!!!“

“Yesterday I had my daughter’s bridal shower at the Lakehouse. The event coordinator, Annalisa was a pleasure to work with. ALL of my guests raved about the food, service and atmosphere. Some of the men stayed and Annalisa set them up outside on the deck for lunch instead of inside the bar since it was a beautiful day. She also suggested having dessert served outside which could not have been better. My guests enjoyed the beautiful view and all of the outdoor seating. I would highly recommend having an event here.“
