We have never had an issue with the food over the years. Lunch specials are a steal honestly, as there aren't many places you can get a full meal (or two honestly) for $7.25.“

Apparently, it's the only proper sit-down Chinese restaurant in the area (with wait service) so this really worked out nicely. Eason, was very professional, super attentive and polite and Lee was so kind as well, in accommodating us and explaining the menu, in addition to allowing for substitutions. For $7 extra, choice of soup, roast pork egg roll/spring roll/shrimp roll (not greasy at all!), and ice cream are included! The ambiance and food take you back to how it used to be back in the day. The bun was light, fluffy, and perfectly steamed—soft and pillowy with just a slight slipperiness that made it fun (and a little messy) to eat. The shrimp inside was tender and flavorful, cooked with sautéed onions and scallions in a savory sauce that soaked beautifully into the bun without being greasy or overpowering.

“Hands down the BEST chinese/szechuan restaurant in Long Island. I've been to many restaurants in Flushing and Manhattan and I gotta say that Spice Workshops food is even better than some of those restaurants. The flavor is very authentic to what szechuan food is suppose to be. My recommendation for ordering:

- Fish on spicy oil
- Shredded pig feet with peppers
- Cabbage
- Sweet and sour fried crispy pork
- Hunan beef with green peppers

Free rice and tea refills. Price is very reasonable. Service is outstanding. Highly recommended!“

“Food was really good when we stopped by here. Price wise it was pretty much in line with most Chinese food restaurants.

The guy behind the counter is pretty cool and seems to always be ready to get your order started.

When we got bbq ribs they were kinda burnt but everything was really good.

It is a grab and go spot because there are no tables inside to sit and eat.

They are closed on mondays so just be mindful of that i like that the close at 10 during the week.

The pork fried rice is just okay it would be great it they had bigger chunks of pork in the rice. I suggest getting the regular large quarts of food rather than the combination platter because it has less food in it. Also the soup could have a better brothy taste to it. I would recommend this spot. I was also so glad that they deliver to my area. I placed the order over the phone which was pleasant and easy to understand the person on the other side. I don't know if it's new owners, have not ate there in awhile. I think it's been a few years. I have to back and try again. It's a take place, but they have a few tables. I called I wanted delivery which they don't do. I understand the roads are crazy, safety, they are busy cooking. They have I think GrubHub but I don't have any if those delivery apps. Anyway delivery can get expensive fuel charge, etc. Some places don't charge delivery fees, but your still tipping. Anyway they have good lunch specials. If they have cheese wontons I would try. I would hope they would be bid and filled with alot of cheese. Enjoy.“

They have lots of restaurant supplies in big cardboard boxes in eating area, which may steer most from sitting in to eat.
