“This was a telephone order and it was picked up in the store. However there's very little attention to detail on the interior of the sore and really lacks atmosphere at all. Chairs from the '80s tables from the '60s it isn't really a good place to eat if you're ordering it for your residence and picking it up you don't have to look like a 1960s atmosphere“

“I just moved to Glen Ave and had no idea who to get good Chinese from so I read reviews. Some were scary with roaches and this looked good! Well they exceeded my expectations. The sesame chicken was cooked perfectly and followed my request on shrimp fried rice and pork fried rice. Both rice dishes had fresh and perfectly cooked meat and not overcooked and hard. The crab ragoons are the best I have ever had and I am a snob when it comes to those. This is THE best authentic Chinese restaurant I ever had and will be ordering again soon!“

“This is the best Chinese in the area! I've tried many many dishes. The only thing I'd caution on is their lemon chicken. The chicken itself was delicious and well portioned, but it didn't come with lemon sauce. It was lime and even had a lime rind in it! So, I would definitely stay clear of that or make sure when ordering that it's definitely lemon and NOT lime! It was so bitter, I couldn't eat it, gross! It was like dunking your chicken into a margarita! Which surprised me, bc everything else is very very good! It's always fast, piping hot, orders are correct, nice ppl, etc.“

“We ordered General Tso’s Chicken, Chicken & Broccoli, Shrimp & Broccoli, Pork Fried Rice, Egg Rolls and Fried Dumplings. Everything was delicious, I’d say one of the top takeout Chinese restaurant in Syracuse. The only thing we didn’t like were the dumplings, we prefer the wonton wraps as opposed to the thick dough, but that’s just personal preference, the flavor and quality were both good. This is our new go to place, thank you for a quality meal!“

“Hands down the best Chinese food in all of CNY. I've tried many different places in the area and like to get the Sesame Chicken and House Special Chow Mei Fun at each place to compare. This place is the best in both of those dishes by far and everything else I get continues to be amazing. Their teriyaki chicken appetizer is also a fav for me these days.
The people are exceptionally nice too. They load you to the gills with each order too. The containers barely can fit it all. We end up with leftovers for days. And then! They stuff us with bonus goodies like donuts, fried spring and pork rolls.
Easily the best place anywhere in CNY for quality of food, quantity of food, pleasant and warm people, and excellent customer service.
The ONLY critique would be their phone line can sometimes be a challenge to get through so you might have to try a few times.“

“Just stumbled upon this restaurant 25 minutes from my home and I am FLOORED! 100% the BEST Chinese Food I have had since I lived in Tennessee... And I LOVE Asian Cuisine, so I just settle these days but this is THE BEST! Amazing Customer Service, They gave me kids a FREE 2-Liter because there was an extra 4 minute wait... Which we weren't even upset about! They value their customers and clearly take pride in the recipes they prepare! My husband had their Thai food, he said that was amazing too!

The family that owns and runs this place are so kind and hard working they even know me by name! And they know that my fiancé always asks for extra dry noodles for the wonton soup I don't even have to ask anymore! The food is absolutely delicious we've never had a bad meal from this place. I've tried multiple meals from this restaurant and all have been cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. We've tried a few other places around the area but we always end up getting No1 Kitchen because it's just that good and very affordable. “Like any restaurant, you have to order what they are good at. Suppose you won't know till you try. The weirder and less conventional sounding, the better it usually is though. Sesame chicken is ok, but try some squid sometime! Or those crunchy noodles soaked in the sauce. Yum ? (pan fried noodles under chow mein) Yeah people usually cook the dishes they like the best. I'm sure those chefs aren't excited about the American dishes. I'm going to try the duck today!!!!

Don't sit inside. The lighting is bad and the tables aren't in a warm atmosphere. They probably don't want to clean up after you. Why would they, you arent going to tip and the food is cheap for the quality. Eat it in the comfort of your home.

“I have been getting takeout from Big Bowl for years. My favorite menu items from them are there handmade steamed dumplings, which are made with a thin dough and the perfect amount of meat and soup juices inside. Their shrimp lo mein has the perfect flavor and isn’t dry like most places. The general Tso is crispy and just the right of sweet and spicy.“
