“Since moving to Eastchester 10709, October 2019, I used to go on Wednesday for buy one get one free sundaes. Yummy. The owner and his sister are awesome!! He has one young woman that works on certain days, she's very friendly and remembers me. Which is great for a neighborhood store. Whereas many neighborhood stores do not. He hires local students from Eastchester, which is great. This Carvel on Mill road is a great community store. I have purchased cakes; sundaes; cones and shakes. Never had a problem. B“

“The custard was amazing, one of the best my family has had. It was extremely rich and creamy, but not overly heavy and you could ready taste the egg flavor (in a good way). The staff member was also very friendly and knowledgeable about Rita’s, and informed us about how they made the custard fresh every day. Rita’s is our go-to place for custard, and we’re glad we went!“

After we got off the phone I guess he went to the back just to to double check and realized he had a little extra left and went out of his way to scoop out whatever was left in the back to give to me. The place is small but we were able to sit inside, I love the mural they have in the ceiling of some Yonkers iconic places.“

“The new ressee ice cream thing (forgot the name) it’s like a sundae/blizzard combo sorta, you eat with spoon… it’s shown as brown ice cream (not vanilla) which it is, just vanilla soft serve with peanut butter syrup.. I thought that it was peanut butter ice cream (which would have been better) it was still pretty good though but pretty expensive for a small cup of averaged ice cream.. $8 an some change ?‍♀️?‍♀️“

He works super fast and is completely generous with what he gives to you, he is a very hardworking person because every time I walk past this place all I see is him doing is cleaning or taking peoples orderes while the other guy sits there doing nothing.“
