I literally came from work in the Bronx straight to Mamaroneck to pick up a Quart of the Plain Tart. They make it in-house, and its consistently a top quality product. (S'mores and Brownie Milkshake) There's so many flavor combos to choose from. The young lady who works there is always friendly and the place is spotless. She's a master at that milkshake machine. “Decided on a late night sweet treat with my mother, we ended up here since it was open late at night. I ended up getting a pint of the Early Grey ice-cream. If you are a fan of Earl Grey you will absolutely love this. The ice-cream was smooth, creamy and just divine. Though there was a sign they had that states they only take tap payment so please keep that in mind.“

I’m especially partial to the Lilly with Nuts. It a uniquely New York flavor that Teresa captures so well. Although I’m not from the neighborhood, it certainly worth the trip. During one visit, I was fortunately confronted by a warm tray of freshly baked miniature sfogliatella sitting in parchment paper. I can still relish the experience. My wife checked her smartphone and discovered there was this ice cream shop just past the restaurant. We enjoyed our meal, but we craved ice cream, so we had our dessert at Gofer's. I had a handmade waffle cone with chocolate and black raspberry chip ice creams. Very yummy! Gofers had soft serve ice cream, ice cream cakes, ice cream quarts to go, and more.
