Extensive selection, fresh, thoughtfully prepared menu with good prices, an excellent lunch special, courteous and attentive staff and a comfortable, relaxed environment. I've been going to ichiban for well over 7 years, and I have never been disappointed. Takeout is fast and efficient, sit down service never seems rushed. There are options to serve most dietary needs. All in all it is just an amazing little place.“

“After 20+ times we have not had bad food from Saigon Bangkok once (even when I accidentally ordered the wrong thing.) But let me tell you a secret: Bun Thit Nuong. Not only is it my favorite take on my all time favorite meal, just about everyone I eat with ends up wanting MY Bun Thit Nuong! So I end up ordering it with extra pork. Unfortunately, this just means there's more for THEM to steal. After they finish MY food and I'm still hungry, I'll eat their Pad Thai, Pho, or Basil Fried Rice. And this time I even tried their Wonton Soup. All of it is excellent. I usually get to go but one time I did eat in the restaurant and the service was spectacular. Since they make everything to order they were more than willing to accommodate the dietary needs of my party. I'll keep going back for sure. Next time I'm going to ignore everyone's order and just order Bun Thit Nuong for everyone. They'll thank me later.“

Having high chairs with a placemat attached may not seem like that big of a deal but it makes such a difference, along with them being immaculately clean. Food was perfect, as usual.“

“While we have always enjoyed our meals at The Mansard in the past, our last two visits have been uninspiring. Our most recent visit on 8/3 was average at best. The bartender had BOTH sliding glass doors (no screens) open in the bar area causing swarms of flies to circle us our ENTIRE meal, in the dining area. Although friendly, our waitress said there were no specials that evening, after I specifically asked what the specials were. I overheard other waitresses telling patrons what the specials were, so I knew there WERE specials. The musty smell of the stained drapery needs to be replaced ASAP, as the odor hits you as soon as you get to the front door. Please be better and ACT like the "fine" dining restaurant you want to be! Very disappointed...The food is the ONLY thing worth coming to The Mansard for...We miss Steve!!“

“I just want to say your waitress Sarah H is absolutely amazing, I can not stress that enough. I do not leave reviews but I HAD to let it be known even though I’m sure it stands out everyday. She had went above and beyond and I say this with an understatement how she went out of her way countless times to occupy our two children. The levels she went to is beyond what words can even explain. You guys truly have THE best employee we have ever witnessed at an establishment and I truly hope it is recognized and appreciated that you truly have a diamond in the ruff! I was charged $23.99 for shrimp scampi and much smaller portion from past order. Fish fry was listed as $15.99 was charged 21.99. They need to let you know the prices are higher than what is listed in their menu. ?‍♀️“

It's a chipotle style place, where you can pick and choose what you want. The food was fresh, well cooked (not too dry, not undercooked), seasoned well, and a place we would stop by again if we ever pass through again.
