“After a very bad experience at another brewery earlier that day, we decided to check out Steelbound and let me tell you this was a night and day experience! This brewery as soon as you walk in has a gorgeous long bar, AC that cools on a hot day and a very impressive selection of beers AND spirits that are made in house. Our server Jenn is everything you want in a bartender and sets a standard of service that is above and beyond what you receive in other bars! She was friendly, attentive, patient and really ten steps ahead of anticipating anything we could beed even before we knew it. We settled on a Gin Sunrise Cocktail and a Beachbum ale which both drinks were very refreshing on a hot day. We ordered a Turkey Bacon Sandwich which came with house made chips, which I changed for fries and a Chicken Souvalaki salad. Both fresh and tasty. Next time you’re in Ellicottville make this place a priority over other breweries that are cashing in on a brand name, but have forgotten that the first priority is service and the customer experience. “Beautiful building & property... amazing patio. Everything was delicious! One thing I'd do differently next time I order the calamari with the pomodoro separately from the perfectly fried calamari. Once they pile the calamari atop the tomato sauce it destroys that beautiful fried crust .. obliterates it.“
