42 North Brewing Company Brewery • $$
25 Pine St, East Aurora

“I live roughly 4.5 hours away but frequent east aurora because of work. Went there for pleasure this weekend and wanted to try the different beer. The 2 gentleman at the counter couldn't have been more helpful. Took time to go through all the different beer and offered samples. Left with almost one of everything and it's all delicious. Will go back for sure.“

East Aurora Brewery Brewery • $$
Red Door, Rear Building, 667 Oakwood Ave, East Aurora

“What a gem this place is! And what great beer from a local brewer. This place is a little hidden and we only found out from others that it even existed. Tucked away from the main roadway with a large gravel open area, you head toward the light of the open garage front entrance to the sound of voices and bright colors . It's almost a little bizarre, but once you get closer you see the friendly smiles of other patrons, neat sitting areas and the colorful list of local brews made by the owner. The owner is there proudly serving his booze and rightly so as I there wasn't anything we tried that was less than delicious. From the unconventional Logan berry beer to the light beer equivalent of the Blue Devil variety all was delicious. As for the atmosphere its great and great conversation from the other patrons and the owner. Some bar games to play also on the open courtyard area. Cant recommend this place and the brews enough!!!“

Bee Spit Meadery Brewery •
7286 Olean Rd, South Wales - 6.21 miles

“Amazing place. So many options something for everyone, if you never tried mead, you absolutely should. Owners are awesome and very informative. Definitely a stop you have to make. Please don't leave your cans in your vehicle overnight to freeze and say you left it at room temp. As another review you can clearly see the mead is frozen in the box in the picture.“

Lilly Belle Meads Brewery • $$
11 W Main St, Lancaster - 9.69 miles

“We visited Lilly Belle to see one very special band, Shaky Stage. Mead isn't one of our favorite drinks but we decided to give it a try. Visiting during "Restaurant Week" we opted for a restaurant week deal: 1-flight of mead (4 samples) and trusted the bartender to give a good choice. Not exactly sure of the names, but we believe we tried "Bobby", "Vintage", "Solstice", and "Black Magic". The Solstice was the one with a great strawberry charm that we liked best. We chased the flight with a glass of Rusty Nickle Brewing-Horns Up Belgian Single Ale; also quite good. The deal also included a small plate of "Famous Corned Beef Nacho" which is kettle chips toasted with Swiss cheese, corn beef, and topped with house made vinegar based coleslaw, bread and butter pickles, and thousand island dressing. It was a little messy to eat. The chips were quite small: maybe not meant for hand serving like Scoops would be. They did give one fork that my husband and I shared. The singlet eating plates were quaint and go figure, they each were of bee decoration. Our price for the evening was a mere $25.00. Quite excellent for a few drinks, snacker plate, AND a great band to listen to. The seating is also quite comfortable. Tall tables with backed tall stools. A garage door at the front of the store opened and let in great fresh air on a mild evening. The lights downtown and in the trees made for a magical walk along the town, and the lighting provided a safe walk.“

Rusty Nickel Brewing Co. Brewery • $$
4350 Seneca St, West Seneca - 7.97 miles

“Incredible atmosphere, the patio is the best I've seen by far. Great landscaping, pond, fires. The drinks and bartenders are always great and they always offer samples of the drafts. There isn't a better place to be if you're looking to get some drinks outside.“
