“We had the rehersal dinner for my son's wedding at Counterpart Brewing this past weekend. The team was fantastic to work with in the planning stages and the evening of the dinner. The food was excellent, the atmosphere fun and relaxed and the service terrific! Thank you!!“
“Wonderful staff and friendly place to make wine and beer batches. I have been a customer for over 4 years now“
“Used flyers to try every beer on the menu and it didn't let us down. The pretzel was amazing, the beer cheese was superb as was the honey mustard. The mexi fries were superb, huge portion, and the black and blue burger was fantastic. I'll be back when I next visit and my friends will now be visiting quite a lot. Excellent place.“

“It's always a great experience visiting this brewery and aside from the great beers , the live music is a nice touch !!
Thank you. Maggie for your exceptional ,friendly service and your tips on what to check out in the area..xo“
“Stopped in her to get a drink and get out of the heat while on a weekend trip to Niagara. The bartender was friendly. My husband and I both tried the Signature Beer Flight. They were all very good! My favourite was the Peach Radler which was a surprise to me. That's what's nice about trying the fights, you get to try beers you may not normally get. We also got fries to munch on and they were good as well. Would come back!“
“Hands down, one of the finest craft breweries in North America. I have been a fan since they started their degree program in 2010. It has been a pleasure to follow their graduates as they move to prominent breweries in Canada and beyond. They have a permanent lineup of core beers that represent major lagers and ales from around the world. My favourite is their Strong Ale 101, a classic Scotch Ale. Most interesting to me are the small batch beers brewed by the students. The creativity and quality are extraordinary. A recent roster included 2 German Kolsch variants, a peach ale, a stylized Belgian Brown ale and a German Dunkelweizen. In the past, students released English spiced winter ales and the best Hefeweizen brewed outside Germany that I have ever tasted. Their Growler Club is a bargain. For the past 5 years or so, I convinced my family to spring for a membership to celebrate my birthday and Fathers Day. Free seminars, discounted merch, free tastings and 1 complimentary growler fill per month! Plus a free excuse to visit once a month to sample the exclusive Growler Club brew. They are currently shut down because of the Pandemic, but I encourage beer afficionados in Ontario to sample their wares by placing a phone order. Shipping is free or nominal in Ontario. Just to show my continued support, I actually made the 2+ hour round trip yesterday to pick up a case of assorted beers. Their seminars have transitioned to a Zoom based format. You can even sample along with the speaker by ordering the target beers for each session. Moderated by master brewers on staff, they are well worth attending.“

“This place is a true gem. There is something for everyone in this amazingly diverse, freshly made, and uniquely crafted culinary experience. Tonight, I requested a menu item that had been tweaked, as they constantly evolve their offerings to keep new and exciting dishes at the forefront. When I asked for it, they didn’t hesitate or give the usual “not sure we can” response—which would have been understandable, especially since the place was packed. Instead, I was assured they would do their best, and if it couldn’t be made, it would be personally explained to me. Adrienne, who made this possible and is essentially the director of the restaurant, bars, and lounge—a demanding role, especially on a busy day—went above and beyond, and I am so thankful to her. The dish was fantastically prepared, and I deeply appreciate both the food and the service. Bradley and others also stopped by to say hello and see if there was anything else they could help with. Truly top-tier in every way. Eating here feels like choosing to stay at a five-star hotel in NYC—exceptional, thoughtful, and memorable. Thank you so much to Adrienne and her entire staff“

“The food was great and the service was spectacular! Bill is very attentive and provided us with many activities to do even though it’s not tourist season right now. The locals that were there were also very nice and helpful. They even gave us sleds to take with us so that we could go sledding! The atmosphere is one that makes you want to stay for a long time. The daily special was delicious. Highly recommend.“

“Went to Taps this evening with friends. Wife and I had a busy few days with renovations and just didn't feel like cooking tonight. Taps didn't disappoint. They have a very good selection of food choices, the food is always good, and the service is excellent. Though they have a good selection of beverages, I really enjoy their craft beer. We've been to Taps several times this summer, and we will definitely continue going for the food, the prices and the very friendly, courteous, and attentive service. Well done Taps. Cheers to all the staff.“
