“Have been to Left Field several times and it seldom fails to please. Had an outstanding sour during my last visit. Aside from terrific beverages, I am always impressed by the friendliness of the staff. It’s sharp little neighbourhood spot, so the vibe is relaxed and the crowd always seems cheerful. Was seated next to a group of people celebrating a very young child’s birthday. They were really nice and everyone was chatty and having a super time. Great spot.“

“Better half and cherry tree beers have got to be one of the best beers I have ever had. Be careful as they are quite strong at 11.5 and 8.5% ABV but they taste SO Good.

Maybe one, possibly two after work has been quite a delight. I find myself excited to come home, drink(and savour) a few before bed.

100% going to get more when I return to Toronto.“

I just wish they sold proper sized pints. Having to walk up to the bar constantly to refill small beer glasses isn't ideal - Even if they are only $5. I'd rather pay more for a proper sized beer and not have to make so many trips to the bar.

“I came in yesterday, there was this unprecedented party of people that showed up unannounced and had taken over the brewery common space. But the manager went out of their way to make it work for our party of people. Saved our Saturday and had some of the best beer in Toronto.“

“Confession: Ive not been, but its worthy to post, A lad I know brought me home a couple samples, so I tried the Bounty Hunter and the BrettalHead...both outstanding beers. If that Bounty Hunter competes against any other flavoured Stout, its gonna blow any, and all competition outta the show!!.

“A nice pub with great beer and a fantastic atmosphere, though it can get a bit noisy. It’s great that, besides beer, you can grab something to eat and even pick up some small snacks. Toronto could definitely use more places like this—it feels much more relaxed and carefree than a typical pub or bar.“

“In Nova Scotia, and just had their 2019 Balam. Easily the best beer I have had, the rich chocolate, the sweet bourbon, and the smooth toffee with the boozy hit, just magical. I wish there is more coming out of this in the coming years, and to get myself to Ontario to enjoy their beer in person.“

Great cocktails, excellent food with weekly specials and regular events...plus the best tucked away backyard patio in midtown. Don't tell anyone though.“

“Was so glad to get a “Sunday Roast”. And neat to try an instagram famous spot. One of my dining companions however counted more than 5 roasts being served—but maybe that’s a misnomer advertised on the socials.

Fun to try the different cola. As an avid Diet Coke drinker, this was nice to be forced to try something out of my comfort zone, but close!

Nice bright atmosphere. Shared long harvest table type seating worked out surprisingly well.

Personally I wouldn’t order the pork again as it was quite fatty and messy to eat especially when trying to share it family style…but to be fair I was invited by a friend that really wanted to try it!“

“We hosted a team party here. The ease to book and pre-order food was incredible. The food was really good (plentiful), the people were great at handling a large group, and it's a cool space. Have been before and will go again. Also, there are more options than beer if you have anyone in your group (wine, spirits available)“

“The Amsterdam Brewhouse is located along the Lake Ontario Waterfront at Queen's Quay West. They have a large indoor and outdoor seating area and are open from 11am to late (weekdays) and 10am to late (weekends). Menu features the Amsterdam Brewery label draught beers along with a fairly typical bar food menu. We visited recently during a warm weekend afternoon and were able to be seated immediately. Blonde Lager tasted just fine, artichoke dip was pretty good as well. Prices are a bit high but we found food and drink quality to be fair enough, food portion sizes are good. Venue is quite fun and views of the lake are great. Amsterdam Brewhouse is a fun place, we'd be happy to pop in again during future walks along the waterfront.“
