“Ordered 3 times- first time, wings which were great. 2nd time, ordered 2 subs, got home and one was a completely different sub than what was ordered. Today ordered the works pizza. Told them peppers only on half. Asks me if I want sweet or hot peppers. I said, it says on the menu, you get both, but I only want them on half. I pick up and it has hot peppers on half, green peppers on the whole thing. When I said something I was told I said sweet on half. Uh, no I said peppers on half which means all peppers should only be on half and why is it my orders keep getting screwed up. Get home and the toppings were barely cooked. Peppers and onions were just about raw and the pepperoni was barely cooked.“

“Thin crust was perfectly done, as we're all the ingredients. I'd rate the food higher if they'd warned me they were going to put green peppers on the chicken capris pizza and given me the chance to say those don't belong !

“The pizza here is phenomenal! It’s a classic 'Buffalo' style with a generous amount of toppings and a perfect, slightly charred crust on the bottom. Truly delicious.
​The wings, however, were a bit of a mixed bag. While they were a great size and perfectly crispy, they had almost no sauce on them. We ordered Medium and Mild, but both tasted as if they hadn't been sauced at all. I’m hoping it was just a one-off mistake, as the quality of the chicken was great. I’ll definitely give them another shot!“

“Everything I've ever tried at Mayback's has been delicious. From the breakfast pizza to the regular pizza. This is one of the only places in the 716 that makes good chicken fingers (the honey mustard ones are divine) and a good cheese steak. The fish fry is the best I've had in years. If you want a real treat try the turkey sub with pickles and extra meat. The freshest salads I've ever had. Food is amazing, prices are great, and everyone who works there is friendly. They've got something for everyone. Easily my favorite place to get food in Buffalo.“

“We had never heard of this place before, but we decided to order a large pepperoni pizza from here and it was quite good. The pepperoni was tasty but came as a bit of a shock, considering the usual Buffalo cup and char style of pepperoni common to the area. The pizza was good, but not particularly noteworthy. The pizza was somewhat soft and was like a more expensive Dominos. But most of us liked it! It was pretty good.“

While the food comes out fresh and hot (or cold, however you ordered) the price is a bit outrageous. $60 for 4 subs and a side of fries!? Not to mention that sometimes my sub comes with something I didn’t ask for, mainly lettuce. Wish the employee would repeat the order back to double check. The food is delicious, I recommend the fish fry! Mainly gets subs here, but occasionally get the fish or a salad - very rarely get pizza here, but it is delicious when I do!“
