There are several pizzerias near us, but on a whim looking for something different (not super crazy about the ones we usually order from) we ordered a regular pizza from them and it didn't disappoint! Just perfect. Our daughter is getting sick of pizza, but loved it. The next time we ordered their white pizza which again delicious and lots of cheese! Last night we tried their subs. WOW! I have not had a chicken finger sub that good in forever. Perfect amt of everything and didnt skimp on toppings. Our daughter was in heaven. The owners are so friendly too. Now our go to place. “I absolutely would recommend Johnny’s. Our party of 9 walked in and was instantly greeted with the warmest Buffalo welcome during half time. We were out celebrating my son’s 12th birthday, it also happened to be an employees birthday. They brought out a piece of cake(his favorite too!) right before serving us with 4 huge pizza pies and appetizers. We live over an hour away and cannot wait to come back. “I've originally grown up on NYC/Jersey pizza but living in Bflo.in upstate NY I had never known how gr8 Mattina's pizza was until I had it 2-yrs ago and couldn't stop ordering it baked light quick well done on top and their sauce is Amazing if only they would put Xtra sauce when you pay Xtra for it is rlly the only thing I've noticed that they don't do anymore. “Might be a new favorite joint, which is a lot for me to say because I've probably been going to the same 2 places for pizza the last 20 years! For reference i ordered the small Zah, so a small (but still 8 slices!) Pepperoni pizza and 10 wings. Price was reasonable considering how much wings go for these days, was quoted 20 minutes over the phone but order was ready in about 15 which was a nice surprise because I'm always early. Very friendly over the counter service, love the decor in the lobby, gives that nice old school feel that i think is lost in alot of places today. Pizza was the right amount of sauce, cheese and char pepperoni, sauce in particular was very good, pleasantly sweet and not acidic. Wings were phenomenal, I personally hate my wings soggy and dripping with sauce and these were crunchy, crispy, and tossed just enough to get the flavor but not feel like they're waterlogged with sauce. Will absolutely order from again, my only complaint is to myself for not thinking to try this place out sooner!“

“Everything I've ever tried at Mayback's has been delicious. From the breakfast pizza to the regular pizza. This is one of the only places in the 716 that makes good chicken fingers (the honey mustard ones are divine) and a good cheese steak. The fish fry is the best I've had in years. If you want a real treat try the turkey sub with pickles and extra meat. The freshest salads I've ever had. Food is amazing, prices are great, and everyone who works there is friendly. They've got something for everyone. Easily my favorite place to get food in Buffalo.“

The atmosphere is amazing however, the wings are outstanding. This has become my favorite wing location in Buffalo. The only thing that is horrible is the parking. The reason is because this place is always packed. This is a good thing for the business however, it’s a crappy thing for the patrons. It’s a weird teeter totter.“
