“This is my first time here, i pass by here all the time going to the subway but yday when I passed I saw a man by the window eating a steam bun and it looks delish so I tried it today.. got chicken steam bun for $1.60 and a hot ginger with honey for $1.75 .. paid $3.35 for lunch.. there’s a lot to try like spare ribs over rice and some Dimsum but for now am satisfied with what I got.. next weekend I’ll try those something over rice meal for $5 or $4 they also have rice noodles for $3.. so cheap and the place is clean so it’s 4stars for now.. let’s see in the future..“
“I didn’t know which one tasted better, so I tried them all. I found 3 things I liked... I asked them their names, but it turned out that the person working on them didn't speak much English. She answered me in Spanish...I don't understand Spanish, so I ignored the name? One is filled with egg, and the more you chew it, the more delicious it gets...The other one has the same texture as mochi. It's a potato on the outside and meaty on the inside.“

“Hidden gem in Elmhurst: Double Rainbow Bakery at 8251 Broadway is serving up pure magic in every bite.
Their pineapple bun? Absolute perfection—crispy golden top with that warm, pillowy center. It's everything a pineapple bun should be.
Don’t sleep on their fish sandwich either—soft bun, flaky fish, and just the right balance of crunch and flavor.
Now for the showstopper: their mochi donuts (aka Pon De Ring) are hands-down the best in the game. Chewy, lightly sweet, and beautifully glazed—each bite is a dream.
Also obsessed with their Chinese egg tarts—buttery crust with silky, custardy centers that melt in your mouth.
And let’s talk about their mini sesame seed pineapple buns: slightly nutty, subtly sweet, and dangerously snackable.
If you’re in Queens, this bakery is a must-visit.

“Tasty pastries and steam buns.I recommend you get the egg tart from behind the counter, as they are still warm. For pastries, the green pea scallion twist, chocolate walnut bun, the sweet topping custard bun, and the mini coconut bun are really good.“

“The baklava is bite sized so it packs the right amount of flavor. You guys know the big pieces of baklava just don’t cut it! Aside from this , their cakes are top tier, it fits the perfect amount of sugar, it’s just damnnnnnnn goood!!! Can’t go wrong here. That’s all I gotta say!“
