“I Agree best breakfast in Broome county...I've been going there since I was a little kid, I love it...the only place EVER that gets my breakfast right...no matter what my kids and I request they write it down and we have no doubt when it's brought to us it's going to be exactly as we asked ..I've never, not once have had a bad meal there ..I've never even had a mediocre meal there ...Everytime it's above and beyond!!!! “They say good finds are hidden gems, and Chris' Diner is the ultimate proof! In an area that feels pretty quiet and dead, this spot immediately grabs your attention with the vibrant, colorful building. We honestly never expected the food to be this good, but it completely blew us away.
The diner was super busy when we walked in, but we still managed to snag a table. The service was a little bit on the slower side, but honestly, with how packed the room and counter were, it was totally fine and well worth the wait.
Everything we had was great, but the Kielbasa & American Cheese Omelet was easily number one - hands down the best thing on the table! We also ordered the Meat Lovers Omelet and the Meat, Egg, & Cheese Sandwich, and both were hearty, delicious, and paired perfectly with mugs of bottomless coffee and hot chocolate. On top of that, the prices are super fair for the generous portions you get.
A quick tip: it gets packed fast with locals, so be patient if the kitchen takes a little extra time during the rush. If you're passing through and want top-notch classic breakfast comfort food, I can't recommend this place enough! 🍳☕✨“

We tried Ernesto’s Diner & Taqueria in Vestal today, and we were extremely impressed. The food was very good, but what really stood out to us was how accommodating and attentive the staff were regarding our dietary needs.

We needed to find gluten-free options, and instead of simply telling us what was or wasn’t on the menu, they actually took the time to help us work through the options and make sure we could have a meal we felt comfortable ordering. That kind of attention means a lot, especially when you have dietary restrictions and eating out can sometimes feel like a hassle.

The food itself was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying—and the overall experience was welcoming and relaxed. You can tell there are people there who genuinely care about making sure their customers have a good experience.

It’s not just the food that will bring us back; it’s the combination of good food, friendly service, and the willingness to go the extra mile for their customers.

“I use to eat here all the time for years all of a sudden I wear a Jesus shirt and they kicked me for no reason and lie about me supposedly throwing up in the bathroom all the time which is crazy because last time I was there before I got kicked out for no reason I reported someone left a mess in the bathroom and they are blaming me for it now.“

It’s so hard to find genuine original recipes these days for pancakes. “Highly Recommended – Great Mother's Day Dinner! We ordered takeout from Park Diner & Restaurant for Mother's Day — one Turkey Dinner for my mom and one Meatloaf Dinner for me. Both meals were excellent and really hit the spot! My mom loved her Turkey dinner. The portions were generous, everything was hot and fresh, and it tasted like a real homemade holiday meal. I went with the Meatloaf dinner and was very happy with it too. The meatloaf was flavorful and comforting, and the sides were perfectly cooked. What really stood out was the service and attention to detail. I asked for extra gravy for my potatoes, and they hooked me up with plenty — just the way I like it! The gravy tasted rich and homemade, exactly what you hope for in a classic diner meal. It made the whole plate even better. This was such a nice upgrade from the disappointing Cracker Barrel meal we had previously. The food at Park Diner felt authentic, satisfying, and well worth the price we paid. “This diner has the best haddock in the area…delicious food won’t be disappointed…believe me the sea food platter is also great and my son had the haddock filet stuffed with crabmeat….portions are good …you won’t be hungry when you leave…red lobster has nothing on these guys….our new favorite place to eat yum yum“
