“Yesterday was our first time in this excellent restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the excellent service, with the magnificent food and booze and with the modest pay. We will surely come back in a short time.“

“Took two trips here on the same day to sample something for brunch and for lunch. For starters, the place is pretty big despite how the place looks from the entrance. The people working behind the counter were pretty cool, service was on point. For breakfast I had the Nutella Custard Croffle and a can of Celsius. The croffle was delightful for sure, pleasing to the taste buds though one small complaint...I don't think croffles are a good base for any sandwich because it was messy eating that, the croffle was kinda all over the place eating it.

Came back here for lunch after a few hours in the gym to order a Mocha Haze Power Smoothie and a Smoked Turkey Croffle. Croffle sandwiches here are delicious as a whole but they are very unstable and can leave a mess so as a note, ALWAYS ask for extra napkins. The smoothie was very good and filling too. I could see myself coming around here a couple more times, trying out as much of their expansive menu as I possibly could.“

We came here for breakfast/lunch and had a great meal here! Service was friendly, efficient, and the food was delicious.

“We visited Roast & Co Café on a sunny afternoon while waiting for my daughter to finish work, and it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise.
The moment we stepped in, we were struck by how beautifully decorated and cozy the place is. It has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you want to sit down, relax, and enjoy your coffee. The décor is charming and full of thoughtful details, it actually reminded us of the small Parisian brasseries in France, with its tasteful design and inviting energy.

The café offers both indoor seating and a lovely outdoor terrace. Since it was a gorgeous day, the terrace was full, so we decided to sit inside. The indoor space was lively but comfortable, filled with regulars chatting or working quietly on their laptops.
We ordered two cappuccinos, one regular and one made with unsweetened almond milk, which they had available. The coffees were prepared with care and attention to detail, and you could tell they use high-quality beans. The aroma alone was wonderful.

The barista behind the counter was friendly, cheerful, and clearly knew many of the customers by name. It gave the café a genuine neighborhood feel that’s hard to find.

We enjoyed sitting there, sipping our cappuccinos, and just soaking in the atmosphere. Even though we didn’t try the food this time, we took a look at the menu, there’s a great selection of light dishes, cookies, and pastries, and everything we saw being served looked fresh and delicious. You could tell people were enjoying their meals.
Before leaving, we had a nice chat with the owner, who was very friendly and clearly passionate about the place. It’s always nice to see a business where hospitality feels genuine and effortless.
Overall, Roast & Co Café is a delightful spot, beautifully designed, welcoming, and full of good energy.

“I'm in town visiting family and had the chance to check out a few local spots that came highly recommended. Blacksmiths Breads was one of the breakfast places on my list.. and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The coffee was spot-on and the croissant was perfectly soft, buttery, and fresh. Everything hit the mark. I’ll definitely be back, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch, quick breakfast spot. 10/10!“

“The Polo Lounge is such a great place! We were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and another couple was celebrating their 50th anniversary! The food was delicious! The portions are appropriate so you're not totally full before your main course even comes. The atmosphere is a fun. There's a lounge singer and couples dancing. It was lovely to watch and we were sitting in our booth. There was a wedding going on, but it did not bother the restaurant at all. We will be back every year for our anniversary after bring married at Westbury Manor. The staff, the food, and the atmosphere will keep us coming back!“

“Food is a bit pricey, however, the quality is totally worth it. The churrasco sandwich with those extra sauces they pack in every meal are AMAZING. On Sunday’s they include little extra breads with every order, which are freshly made and super delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough. Go try the empanadas as well! “I have been frequenting the Kookaburra Malverne location on and off for several years. The only downside is they close a bit early for my schedule and they only take cash. Other than that, this location is full of phenomenal humans. The customer service is unparalleled. Every single time that I can remember there that’s been a superb interaction with the baristas and the clientele. Today one is the baristas wishes a client Happy Birthday anniversary wishes and the client was so moved. Heck, I was moved. A couple of months ago I was here and heard a client place an order and received the order and said it wasn’t what she ordered. In many cases folks would get annoyed as they made what the client requested, but the barista was so kind and professional, but mostly so kind and understanding and she remade the clients order and offered the “mistaken” beverage for the client to take at no charge. It was such a great moment to witness. The energy in here is quite welcoming and positive. Our furry babies are welcome and everyone is treated with respect and kindness.

“I've been ordering lunch delivery here for a while now. Each time, the experience has been amazing. Yes, they are pricey, but the food and presentation are so worth it! I loved the kippered salmon sandwich. I cannot get enough of their butternut squash soup and the varied fresh juices. The tomato soup is also good, and the tuna panini. Now, the avocado salmon sandwich surpassed my expectations! Everything is always fresh and tasty and leaves you with a healthy vibe. The only miss was the “make your own salad” which I would never try again, better to go with what they offer on the menu.“

“Subol in Howard Beach is a great spot with delicious food and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The flavors were fresh and well-balanced, and you can tell they use quality ingredients.

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the prices felt a bit on the higher side for the portion sizes. Still, the overall experience from the service to the presentation was very enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for something flavorful and different!“

Place is a bit cramped and paper plates and plastic tableware but saves money not having to pay for a dishwasher, and that savings gets passed to the customer. Also literally steps from the subway entrance for extra convenience.“
