“Breakfast was amazing. I ordered the (#2) sage sausage home-fries. My server (cathy) blew my mind away from the conversation to the coffee. Her salmon croquettes were everything she said they would be.The coffee shop still has that relaxing atmosphere that you will expect from a small town diner. This diner is cash onlyThe food was plated perfectly I just started eating I'll post a picture next time.“

“Took two trips here on the same day to sample something for brunch and for lunch. For starters, the place is pretty big despite how the place looks from the entrance. The people working behind the counter were pretty cool, service was on point. For breakfast I had the Nutella Custard Croffle and a can of Celsius. The croffle was delightful for sure, pleasing to the taste buds though one small complaint...I don't think croffles are a good base for any sandwich because it was messy eating that, the croffle was kinda all over the place eating it.

Came back here for lunch after a few hours in the gym to order a Mocha Haze Power Smoothie and a Smoked Turkey Croffle. Croffle sandwiches here are delicious as a whole but they are very unstable and can leave a mess so as a note, ALWAYS ask for extra napkins. The smoothie was very good and filling too. I could see myself coming around here a couple more times, trying out as much of their expansive menu as I possibly could.“

“Chai Wala has great service and a very cute space. They have a great choice of music and the employees are very attentive. I took a family member for the first time and the person behind the counter made her a custom brown sugar milk tea with oreo that she LOVED.

“The everything bagel was covered in salt I couldn’t eat it , but the coffee was great and the barista was very attentive. Everyone seems positive with one another and work very well. The line was long but they know how to keep it moving. My coffee was delicious I had the special flavor Strawberry ( it was mixed with another flavor I forgot what) , can’t wait to go again!“

“Been going to daily dose juice bar down at 111-15 Farmers Blvd, St. Albans and I don’t plan on stopping. Their food items are seriously life changing! From the friendly staff to the organic smoothies, and etc all bring joy throughout my day. I always buy a drink from there on my way to work but my favorite has GOT to be the chicken and waffles. The crispy and tender texture of the chicken is beyond exhilarating!! Waffles are done at the perfect level where they are fluffy and delicious. I love eating from here and like I said I do plan on stopping. COME HERE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A SOME GOOD FOOD!!

My husband and love this restaurant because the food is always consistently satisfying. We done here often and definitely will be back...new staff members should be aware that returning customers are expecting the same quality of serviced that is synonymous with Small Batch. I highly recommend Small Batch despite the hiccup during my last visit“

“Food is a bit pricey, however, the quality is totally worth it. The churrasco sandwich with those extra sauces they pack in every meal are AMAZING. On Sunday’s they include little extra breads with every order, which are freshly made and super delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough. Go try the empanadas as well! “I LOVE this little place in Hewlett, I stop by once in awhile on a lunch break from where I work. They have a wide range of menu choices and everything that I've tried here I love. It's like Hewlett's little diner. I came here once with a guy I was briefly seeing after I had begun my divorce process. We ended up discontinuing seeing each other but we remained friends until he sadly died from covid. I like coming here sometimes because it helps me remember him, being in a spot where we once hung out for an hour. I've taken one of my friends here too she loves it. If you're in the area and it's open this is worth stopping in. The prices are incredibly reasonable as well which is very hard to find now.

“I just had the best egg salad sandwich of my life here. (It looked so good that I dove right in and forgot to take a picture). Huge amount of egg salad, creamy, delicious. This deli is small and looks like the kind of place that has been there for many years-in a good way. As soon as you walk in, you just know it's going to be good. The two women who work there were very friendly. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back for an egg sandwich, which seem to be their specialty judging from their online menu and the smell of eggs wafting through the store.“

The AC is right above the door and water was consistently dripping right in the entrance pathway. Would highly recommend a drain hose to help keep customers dry when entering and exiting the store.“

“Best prices by a long shot over anything else I have seen. We ordered 5 pastries, a double shot macchiato with oat milk, and a almond milk latte for only $21. This morning we spent $70+ on breakfast pancakes, so at first I thought I heard her wrong. She was very kind and personable allowing my wife and I to sample the chai latte as we were unsure what we wanted. It was delicious as was everything else. “Recently ordered a panini, chocolate brownie, and blueberry cheesecake on Uber Eats. The food was undeniably delicious—I have to commend them on crafting the best panini I've tasted in a while!However, there was a slight hiccup in the order—they delivered 2 brownies instead of one, and unfortunately, the blueberry cheesecake was missing. Considering the cheesecake's higher value compared to the brownie, it was a bit disappointing.Despite this minor disorder, I must say the food quality itself was top-notch. “Came here today for lunch with my husband and daughter this afternoon and we had the French toast and dumplings. In the excitement of ordering (because everything looked delicious), We thought we had ordered egg ramen soup, but we didn’t. The manager was kind enough to let us try it, which was super sweet of her. Everything was DELICIOUS. The decor of the restaurant is also perfect. It makes you feel like you are in Tibet and even sells clothing, jewelry and rugs for those wanting to take little Tibet home with them.

“The people that work here at nice, and the coffee is good. I think there are definitely things about this cafe that could use improving though. First of all, the seats as well as the tables are WAY too small and this is coming from someone 5’1”. This isn’t very inclusive at all for people who maybe taller or in a larger body. They’re uncomfortable as well. Secondly, there’s no bathroom. I understand New York State says only places with 19 chairs and up need a bathroom but it’s inconvenient when they serve both food and drink to not have a bathroom. Thirdly, the prices are astronomical and although the coffee is good and food is ok, i don’t understand the high price point. Lastly, some of the baristas may need more training because they have served me a cortado in a macchiato cup TWICE. a cortado is 4 oz.
All in all, this place has potential but doesn’t hit the mark. To the owner:: research what successful coffee shops in Brooklyn are doing. Bathroom, inclusive environment, free water, and competitive pricing.“

I would recommend if you have time to burn at the airport instead of waiting airside take the air train to the TWA hotel and have a meal, it’s probably the same price as airport food and ten times better.

It was also open earlier than typical lunch time so it was one of the only easy food places to get to.
