“It’s more of a desert shop. Very tasty. The atmosphere is great too and very clean. The only down fall to the restaurant is the staff. Not welcoming at all and don’t greet you. I’m from out of country and I love to experience new places and I like to go back to restaurants that are friendly and warm, however, I won’t return here because of the staff lack of hospitality.“

“Mr. Khalit is amazing! I stumbled upon his shop while i was waiting for my train at Kew Gardens station. It was extremely cold day and was around the shop’s closing time, yet he asked me to stay in his shop even though my train won’t be here for a while. Mr. Khalit is kindhearted and seems to love his job. I’m so glad I found this gem and definitely will visit again if I have the opportunity!“

“The Polo Lounge is such a great place! We were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and another couple was celebrating their 50th anniversary! The food was delicious! The portions are appropriate so you're not totally full before your main course even comes. The atmosphere is a fun. There's a lounge singer and couples dancing. It was lovely to watch and we were sitting in our booth. There was a wedding going on, but it did not bother the restaurant at all. “We stayed at the JFK one night and enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the Paris Cafe the next morning. The French toast and the omelet we had were very good. “I have been frequenting the Kookaburra Malverne location on and off for several years. The only downside is they close a bit early for my schedule and they only take cash. Other than that, this location is full of phenomenal humans. The customer service is unparalleled. Every single time that I can remember there that’s been a superb interaction with the baristas and the clientele. Today one is the baristas wishes a client Happy Birthday anniversary wishes and the client was so moved. Heck, I was moved. A couple of months ago I was here and heard a client place an order and received the order and said it wasn’t what she ordered. In many cases folks would get annoyed as they made what the client requested, but the barista was so kind and professional, but mostly so kind and understanding and she remade the clients order and offered the “mistaken” beverage for the client to take at no charge. It was such a great moment to witness. The energy in here is quite welcoming and positive. Our furry babies are welcome and everyone is treated with respect and kindness.

When our PTSA requested a donation for our Supermarket Bingo they didn’t hesitate for a second. 🙏🏽

“Everything I’ve tried here has been delicious. The ham and cheese croissant was amazing even cold. The chocolate chip cookie had the perfect salty-sweet balance. I don’t even like blueberries, but their blueberry bun with cream cheese frosting was so good I had to pause. The blondie was soft and rich and just right.

It’s really hard to find a bakery where everything hits. This place does. You can tell there’s real care in the food. This isn’t just baking to bake, there’s love in it.“

“As a local, I truly consider this coffee shop one of the sweetest gems in our community. I recently had a little Galentine’s get-together here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The family who runs it is incredibly kind and accommodating.

The coffee shop is decorated so pretty. We loved everything we tried, but the cookie butter latte and banana oat latte were definite favorites! The food was also good!

I did notice they also had Ferrero Rocher ice cream, which I asked the young ladies to try and it was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be returning to Lynbrook just to try for ice cream here!
