“It’s more of a desert shop. Very tasty. The atmosphere is great too and very clean. The only down fall to the restaurant is the staff. Not welcoming at all and don’t greet you. I’m from out of country and I love to experience new places and I like to go back to restaurants that are friendly and warm, however, I won’t return here because of the staff lack of hospitality.“

“Worth the trip for some yummy and unique gluten free food! I wish there were more locations, if this was closer to me I would be visiting here all the time. They are a small shop and were pretty busy when we went in on a Sunday afternoon, but the staff was super friendly and very accommodating. Hashbrowns and waffles were to die for 😍“

“Mr. Khalit is amazing! I stumbled upon his shop while i was waiting for my train at Kew Gardens station. It was extremely cold day and was around the shop’s closing time, yet he asked me to stay in his shop even though my train won’t be here for a while. Mr. Khalit is kindhearted and seems to love his job. I’m so glad I found this gem and definitely will visit again if I have the opportunity!“

“Stopped by around 7pm after seeing great reviews and it did not disappoint. I got an ube iced latte and an espresso tonic even though it was pricey around $16 but both were amazing and better than other nearby cafés. After finishing the two drinks I went back up for two more drinks and ordered two ice matcha seltzers and those were just as good.

Harvey the barista the only one working at that time when we came in did an awesome job he was super patient, gave great recommendations, provided great service, and you can definitely tell he really knows what he’s doing.

He mentioned he usually works Fridays and weekends, so I’d definitely recommend stopping by when he’s there and having him make your drinks.

“The Polo Lounge is such a great place! We were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and another couple was celebrating their 50th anniversary! The food was delicious! The portions are appropriate so you're not totally full before your main course even comes. The atmosphere is a fun. There's a lounge singer and couples dancing. It was lovely to watch and we were sitting in our booth. There was a wedding going on, but it did not bother the restaurant at all. “Everything I’ve tried here has been delicious. The ham and cheese croissant was amazing even cold. The chocolate chip cookie had the perfect salty-sweet balance. I don’t even like blueberries, but their blueberry bun with cream cheese frosting was so good I had to pause. The blondie was soft and rich and just right.

It’s really hard to find a bakery where everything hits. This place does. You can tell there’s real care in the food. This isn’t just baking to bake, there’s love in it.“
