You know those little hole in the walls full of flavor and traditions...
Well my friend Al, recommend us this place, he was so excited talking about this place, so I couldn't help visit this place, at first it looks like a regular place, once I sit at the bar the Journey begins...
I got a beer the bartender he was so cool and helpful... then this beautiful lady pass by with some Greek empanadas and oh boy from there it was straight to heaven 🥰🥰🥰
The flavor the mix of Ingredients are amazing, not forgetting the Greek hot salsa Man I'm telling you,
This is one of those places we call in Texas you must eat there!
The food was beyond Amazing Delicious!!! And the Atmosphere of this place is so great and cozy,
Like I belong here! Thank you guys

“Al Kababi is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Pakistani food. The moment you walk in, you’re hit with these amazing aromas that just get you excited for what’s coming. The fact that it’s Zabiha makes it even better, knowing everything is halal and carefully sourced. The food? Incredible. We started with the beef Bihari, and they were so juicy and packed with flavor—just the right amount of spice and served with this fresh mint chutney that tied everything together. The biryani, which was perfection. The rice was fragrant, and the meat was super tender, with all those spices working in harmony. The real star, though, was their Amazing Nihari. It tasted homemade, like something you’d get at a family gathering. The spices were bold but balanced, and the meat was cooked to perfection. You could tell they put real love into this dish.
And let’s not forget the naan—soft, warm, and just the right texture to scoop up all the delicious flavors. The staff was so friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. If you’re craving real Pakistani food, Al Kababi should be at the top of your list. As it is my first time being here, I was blown away by all these delicious flavors. This definitely won’t be my last time. Highly recommend! 5 STARS!“

“Last night I took my 95 yo dad with my family here, our Go-To Greek restaurant and as always we had another wonderful meal. The grilled octopus, coconut shrimp and the haloumi cheese were all delicious. I had the chicken santorini for the first time and it was amazing as it melted in my mouth. “The food was excellent! Had the Fried Calamari (but you can order grilled), and the Mediterranean Octopus salad. Both were good but we all really loved the octopus! We had the Mixed Grill which consists of lamb chop, pork chop, skirt steak and chicken. menu says "serves 2" but it easily fed 4, and I don't think I'll finish what I took home in one sitting! Also had the Mixed Grill Vegetable which goes well obviously with the protein dish. Had a Greek beer and a glass of Greek red wine. Very friendly service: the bartender, greeter, our waiter, all gave good vibes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

The owners are genuinely lovely people who go above and beyond for their customers. I recently hosted a party on a day they were closed, and they still prepared everything I needed and arranged for me to pick it up. That kind of service is rare and so appreciated! “Greek Cove Merrick’s lunch special is incredible. Ate the warm pita in the car on the way home! Grilled chicken with a salad and rice. One huge chicken cutlet over a generous portion of delicious rice and a tasty Greek salad- with a grape leaf and feta! I am a very picky eater but this chix was seasoned beautifully, so that if garlic, onion or rosemary(my triple threat) was used, it all blended together perfectly so that even I could not pick out the offensive spice. Amazingly, the yogurt sauce is also tasty( I hate yogurt sauce;usually throw it away). Forgot to tell them not to give it to me, so as not to waste it, but I’m glad I forgot! All of this, and a lot of smiling happy employees, for $12.99 cash. Wowza.“

Food is delicious and all staff, front and back of house, are friendly and professional. Nice view of the town and calm atmosphere. Most of the wait staff hired are in high school or college, making this a good place to go to if you’re looking to support neighborhood kids. The owner is a kind, respected member of the local town who goes above and beyond to give back to the community. 10/10 highly recommend.“

“Was in the area working and decided to have lunch here. The place has a very large menú to chose from so I was a bit hesitant on that. Usually places with large menus tend to have a hard time keeping items fresh, but no not here at hell's kitchen the food was great flavor and taste are great. I ordered a chicken gyro platter. The gentleman behind the counter insisted I try the empanadas so I did and it was very good. The crust was very crispy and flaky just like a traditional empanada and it was stuffed with spicy chicken. I wish I would have ordered a few more. I recommend stopping by if you are in the area.“

Gyro had plenty of meat (lamb) w/lettuce, tomatoes & onions. All very fresh. Husband had Falafel which he said was absolutely delicious. We had a great lunch. “I went to check out the new location in Levittown after they closed their spot in Mineola. The new place looks great—clean, spacious, and welcoming.

I ordered my food to go, and it was ready by the time I got there. Everything was hot, freshly made, and delicious. I got the chicken souvlaki with grilled veggies, and it came with a small Greek salad. The portions are generous, and you definitely get your money’s worth.

The lamb gyro was also really good—tender, well-seasoned, and stuffed with meat. They definitely don’t skimp. The staff was super friendly, service was quick, and pickup was easy. Definitely worth the trip.“

“I honestly love a good chicken over rice platter and usually have to drive all the way to Hicksville which is pretty inconvenient. This spot is less than 10 minutes away from where I attend school so I had to try it out and I’m so glad I did! I stuck to the classic chicken over rice platter. “This place does mainly a takeout business, there are 3 small tables to wait in if desired, but it is noisy and there is a lot of Doordash/uber eats activity in and out, and for good reason: the food is consistently excellent and the quantity served makes it a terrific value. The salads are terrific and we love that you can not only get chicken souvlaki chunks or chicken gyro meat on salads or platters and both are terrific. Tzatziki - amazing. If you're a fan of baklava, theirs is better than most bakeries around. Spanakopita is also excellent. Think of it is restaurant quality but in takeout form. We absolutely love the guys who run the place, very friendly, very gracious. There aren't that many Greek places in Nassau that hit it out of the park for us, but these guys do, every time. Go!“
