I love Athena Greek Restaurant in Amityville. I haven't found a Greek restaurant I like better in the area. I don't want to name the places I think are awful because I don't give bad reviews. I realize how it can have a negative effect on a business. If I don't like it I just don't go back. The food is amazing. The Spanakopita is excellent. Been going here since I was a little kid as the go to for Greek food. Usually done take out. Well I went in the other night and tried their lamb shank special and decided to write this review. Service and food was absolutely phenomenal. Should've taken a photo, lamb was beyond tender and succulent. 10/10
