“This restaurant exceeded all of my expectations! The tacos were hands down some of the best I’ve ever had, and the drinks were just as amazing. Everything was packed with flavor and absolutely worth trying.

My only minor complaint was the wait time for both the food and drinks, but honestly, once everything arrived, it was completely worth it. The quality more than made up for the delay.

“I was here yesterday, ordered Chicken Karahi, Kebabs, Chicken Tikka with Naan. Everything was delicious and closer to the perfection. Raita and special Spicy Onions made things more delicious. I will definitely visit again to try other dishes. One more thing which i liked, there werr no mandatory service charges, you can tip whatever you want to. Beautiful small space with Quality Food. “Genuinely the best Greek food on Long Island. Moving out here from Queens and being used to the Greek food in Astoria, we were honestly worried we wouldn’t find anything as authentic out here - but Twisted Greek completely changed that.

The food is fresh, flavorful, and truly tastes homemade. Everything we’ve had has been excellent, from the gyros to the souvlaki to the sides, and you can tell they really care about quality. It has that authentic Greek street/comfort-food feel that’s hard to find outside of Astoria and keeps me coming back.

On top of that, the service is amazing. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel genuinely appreciated as a customer. They’re attentive, quick, and always make the experience feel personal, which makes the food even better.

“Last night I took my 95 yo dad with my family here, our Go-To Greek restaurant and as always we had another wonderful meal. The grilled octopus, coconut shrimp and the haloumi cheese were all delicious. I had the chicken santorini for the first time and it was amazing as it melted in my mouth. The food is always spot on and most of all we are treated like family. I would recommend "It's Greek to Me" without hesitation.“

“When I get Greek I always get gyros because I don't have Greek food enough that I'm ever bored of gyros. The sauce on the gyro had a kick to it and was unlike any other place I've ever been to. I wish it was closer to where I was because I would be back more often.“

The atmosphere, the food and the wine was tops but the service was the best. I think there was a handsome model named Christian was working that night. I have send a review for the restaurant Greekville. The name says it all. Nice to know there is a great spot to get Greek take out , and this is one of the best. The food is fresh and delicious and they give you large portions , From the chicken gyro to the spanakopita ( spinach pie). The soups lentil and chicken lemon (avgolemono )are good as well .“

“The food was excellent! Had the Fried Calamari (but you can order grilled), and the Mediterranean Octopus salad. Both were good but we all really loved the octopus! We had the Mixed Grill which consists of lamb chop, pork chop, skirt steak and chicken. menu says "serves 2" but it easily fed 4, and I don't think I'll finish what I took home in one sitting! Also had the Mixed Grill Vegetable which goes well obviously with the protein dish. Had a Greek beer and a glass of Greek red wine. Very friendly service: the bartender, greeter, our waiter, all gave good vibes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

“Greek Cove Merrick’s lunch special is incredible. Ate the warm pita in the car on the way home! Grilled chicken with a salad and rice. One huge chicken cutlet over a generous portion of delicious rice and a tasty Greek salad- with a grape leaf and feta! I am a very picky eater but this chix was seasoned beautifully, so that if garlic, onion or rosemary(my triple threat) was used, it all blended together perfectly so that even I could not pick out the offensive spice. Amazingly, the yogurt sauce is also tasty( I hate yogurt sauce;usually throw it away). Forgot to tell them not to give it to me, so as not to waste it, but I’m glad I forgot! All of this, and a lot of smiling happy employees, for $12.99 cash. Wowza.“

Food is delicious and all staff, front and back of house, are friendly and professional. Nice view of the town and calm atmosphere. Most of the wait staff hired are in high school or college, making this a good place to go to if you’re looking to support neighborhood kids. The owner is a kind, respected member of the local town who goes above and beyond to give back to the community. 10/10 highly recommend.“
