“Best Thai food in the Hudson Valley!!“

“Just passing through, wanted some asian food. this place def met our standards. quite good! we sat down and enjoyed a miso soup, the salad with ginger dressing which we always love, the udon noodles, and a avocado and cucumber roll. this was us trying to eat light. and we were happy with everything. their decor with the colors they chose was certainly funky, but im not gunna hate. to each his or her own! rock on! def recommend.“

“I've had Thai food on 2 coasts, in 4 states, and homecooked by a Thai friend. Lopburi Thai is the best Thai food I have ever had. We spend our time eating talking about what we're going to order next trip. Next trip is probably 3 days from now! We open conversations with "Do you like Thai food?" When we're not eating there, we're talking about eating there! My husband is working his way through the curries, which are outstanding, with the occasional stop for Chili Basil! I've had the Pad Thai, Chili Basil, Drunken Noodles, the Thai fried rice, Sweet & Sour, Curry puffs, Dumplings (OMG!). The seasoning/spiciness is on point each time. The food is very obviously fresh (you can tell) and is delivered to your table right from the pan/wok steaming hot. Haven't tried the seafood, not big on seafood, but the gentleman sitting next to me had some of the best-looking shrimp I have ever seen, absolutely no odor/scent/smell. It had not been sitting around anywhere. A generous mug of Thai iced tea if that's your thing! As you sit there and eat you often find yourself chatting with other patrons about how good the food is! I am not a friend or family member. I don't even know the names of the staff, so this is a real review from a real patron who can't wait to go back. Oh, speaking of the staff, pleasant, attentive without being a nuisance and always smiling. Please give them a try, you won't be sorry.“

“If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would! The vegetables were fresh and cooked to perfection. The sauces were flavorful and profound but not too salty. We ordered pad cashew nut and pad prew wan (sweet and sour) both with tofu and they were both incredible! Can’t wait to go back.“

“A local staple for good reason. Bonsai is always consistent and sushi is amazing. Our favorite is the tuna avocado roll which is a classic but they do it so well. I love how they use sesame seas on the outside of their rolls too. The Alaskan sushi dinner or tuna don is also great with thick cut buttery sashimi that melts in your mouth every time. Service is consistently good and fast. We have been coming for years.“
