Flushing Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue intersect above the 7 liken train station to sell the famous Portuguese style custard cups going back many many many decades at this location. Goodbye !
July 2023: enjoyed being able to come back for another visit. Happy to see them still in business! Love their egg tarts and all the variations. They’re all great!March 2020: Unassuming and perfect. Only a couple of spots to sit and dine in. I got egg tarts to go, some Hong Kong style (more egg focused in flavor) and some Portuguese style (more creamy custard-like with flavors of vanilla and sweetness). Both delicious. Sadly, the owner is retiring, and the bakery will be closing soon, leaving customers devastated. The flaky crust and perfectly sweet filling of their egg tarts have made them a go-to spot for many in the neighborhood. A small space, but a big impact, New Flushing Bakery will be dearly missed by all who frequented it.
