“I was originally going to check out Sweetgreens but upon seeing the reviews I decided to pass on it and luckily I passed by Just Salad. I wasn’t looking for something too heavy. Usually not a big salad person but this Balsamic chicken avocado salad changed me. Pretty standard with the romaine lettuce, grilled chicken, avocado and eggs but I really enjoyed how the sauce was not too overpowering and really brought everything together. I got light sauce and I think this was perfect for me. Each ingredient was fresh and delicious. I definitely recommend if you’re too lazy to make dinner and you want something simple and light.“

“A wide selection of Asai (and other based) bowls. Endless combinations of fruit with added garnishments. Reading the founders story and appreciating the immersive design of the location you can almost feel like you escaped from 2nd avenue off to a warm sunny beach elsewhere. Enjoy surfing the flavors of your bowl, there is no need for sunscreen and you won't need to clean up any sand before you get back home. There is an additional seating space to and a restroom inside. The servings are bigger than your average Asai bowl (may be enough for 2) but the prices are also relatively high.“

“Love Playa Bowls—best açaí bowls hands down!!! They’re hearty and you get a nice size bowl/amount for the price. The options are insane!

My favorite is the power -açaí bowl w/ peanut butter (shown in the picture). My kids love the mucho mango (also in the picture) and the Stupid Cupid (not pictured).

This particular location is a nice size. They have a few tables inside as well as a seating area. There is usually seating outside as well but the entire sidewalk block is under construction at the moment.

I’ve never experienced bad customer service. I’ve dined in, ordered online for pickup, AND I’ve had it delivered before. Always a 10/10!“

“I usually go for the smoothies and health shots (which are A1!! - the freshest and healthiest smoothies I’ve ever had). Today I ordered a hot plate (grilled chicken, brown rice and black beans, purple cabbage, and plantains).. OMG! Lol. I had no clue the food was as good as it was. I HIGHLY recommend! “I've ordered from many places that make acai or green bowls But this Playa bowl in particular, is by far the best one in brooklyn. They always seem to get it right! “Ordered the Mezze Crunch salad and it was really delicious. Everything tasted really fresh and the ingredients had a great mix of textures and flavors. The salad was crisp, well balanced, and had a nice combination of crunchy and savory elements that made it really satisfying.

It felt like a lighter meal but was still filling, and you could tell the ingredients were fresh and well prepared. Overall a really tasty and refreshing option if you’re looking for a healthy but flavorful salad. Would definitely order it again.“

“Came in the snow storm , fast delivery . I ordered bison with sweet potato and broccoli and everything was so fresh and delicious . The sweet potato was amazing and not dry at all. Iced matcha with oatmilk was wayyyy better than Starbucks . Healthy and filling. Under 30 bucks for all the food and the drink.“

One thing I noticed is that most of the owner / manager at Baya Bar, most not all, are pretty nice, and this one at UES is def one of them. Super friendly to customers and even window cleaning staff. Really takes care of the people and takes pride in the store. Food & smoothie is solid, consistent“

“I just moved to Woodside and was searching for a shop that carries healthy, vegan options as I’m vegan since 2012. I stumbled across Go Natural and it fits the bill perfectly. It’s a lovely, old school health food store that manages to fit a large number of options into a relatively small space.
