“Casual eatery. The staff was very kind. The garlic knots were light, airy, fluffy and crispy on the bottom - the best I’ve ever had! The grandma pizza was also phenomenal. We ate it there and it had an amazing cheese pull when hot. The sauce was a great combination of salty, sweet umami. The crust held up very well to the sauce and cheese and had great flavor on its own as well.“

I'm mean, Thai Chili Calamari pizza, getoutahere! And the Black & Blue burger on toasted garlic hero is one go the best burgers I've ever had...and I've had a lot of burgers. The Italian wedge salad with crispy prosciutto is incredible, and I don't eat salad but after seeing it, made my mouth water...I had to have a plate. “Seriously the best pizza I’ve ever had. And in 58 years, I’ve tried quite a few! This place cares about quality ingredients, details and consistency. Truly from the way they make their fresh dough, choose their top of the line cheese, tomato sauce, Dearborn ham, etc, I can tell they shopped around and chose the best. From perfectly crisped meaty bacon bits, tender chicken and how they cut their produce to carmelize the onions on top so it complements the entire BBQ chicken pizza I just tried. This is the first round pizza I had from them and it didn’t disappoint. It had a nicely seasoned Parmesan garlic butter crust and the toppings were perfectly placed with just enough bbq sauce. Can we talk about their salads, too?? Quality produce with romaine lettuce cut like pros-uniform and easy to eat. And generous toppings with a yummy ranch (my favorite here) dressing. Take a day off and do yourself a favor. Try this place! They now have a Michigan Salad! My new fav go- to place.❤️🥰🍕🥗“

“Honestly, this place is so slept on... Krave It has the best pizza in Bayside— by a LANDSLIDE. I love that they use unbromated flour and I appreciate that every piece (even the specialty slices with many heavy toppings) has great structure, no flop. Thin & crispy crust, great ratio of sauce and cheese. I also love how clean the restaurant is. They have some incredible specialty slices that I never knew I needed in my life until I tried them! Especially the “Desi Boy” slice and the “white truffle chicken cutlet” slice. I also have to mention their vodka slice with sesame crust 🤤 Everything in this place is high quality, even their regular slices. Their sandwiches are pretty incredible too, and you can tell that the bread is fresh made in house— you don’t feel bloated or overly stuffed after eating them! The owner is super friendly and even gave us a couple extra slices to try to complete our “pie” when we had already ordered a small variety of slices. The staff are all very friendly and it feels very comfortable and less stuffy than some of the other pizzerias in the area. Happy to give this place my business. Give them a try, you will be back for more!“

“I don’t eat out often so when I do, I prefer it to be worth my while. And boy was this worth it; the pizza and the garlic knots were so delicious. The pizza dough.. I can’t quite describe it but the texture was so satisfying it felt like it melted right in my mouth. Their pizza is very unique and not like other pizza places plus it wasn’t too salty. We’re still talking about how much we loved it the next day lol. Service was also great so I feel it’s safe to say when I want pizza, this will be my go to place. The prices are also super reasonable compared to other places and I definitely saved a couple bucks. Next time I’ll be trying a beef patty with cheese!“

We're definitely lucky in this area with the amount of good spots for pizza nearby, but if you live north of like King Kullen, Junior's should be your go-to place. They also have some nice local photography on the walls, you can tell the owner must either be a local or really likes the area.“

So clean, fresh food, pizza to rival Gloria’s in Flushing. The rest of the menu - never disappointed- always glad we moved close to them from Queens and Brooklyn.

“My fiancé and I were very surprised and impressed that the first time we went to Paulie’s Pizzaria! The staff was very impressive; what was supposed to be only a couple of slices of pizza into an amazing experience. Not only did the owner come over and engage in a conversation with us about how passionate he is about pizza and telling us why it’s so special, he surprised us with dessert! Since then we have been there 3x and finally we are trying out their family special! You can’t beat that!“

The pizza is fantastic and gets the full 5 stars.The middleaged gentleman working counter, however should get 1 million stars.Someone in my car got sick as we pulled up to park, and left a little mess infront of the store, and may need urgent care.I went in and told him what was happening, and asked if he had a bucket, so I can clean it.He did not blink an eye, and insisted I take care of my matters, and he would clean it.He offered me towels, napkins, whatever I needed.His only concern, was for me to attend to ourself, and he would do the rest.I travel to St. James 2x per week for the unforseeable future, and I will be stopping in for lunch frequently.SIR, I didnt get your name, but I cant thank you enough.You are a model of what every human should be like.Thank you“

“We have been going to Anas pizza for years and years recently we noticed the girl behind the counter that has been there every time we went, was not there my wife inquired, and the woman said she’s not here for a couple of weeks and the pizza was not like it used to be so we gave them another try my wife called and asked for a pie with half sausage when we got there. I saw the gentleman pulling out the whole pie with all sausage I told him I’m sorry, but I was standing next to my wife when she ordered the pie and she said have sausage maybe you didn’t understand what she said, and he said absolutely not. That’s what she said he offered to give us four cold slices that were sitting on the counter for looked like all day, and when I said no sir, we want a fresh pie with half sausage he said no way I asked where is the owner and he said I am the owner And asked are you sure you want to lose a customer that’s been coming here for years and he said no problem goodbye having said that goodbye to you, and as we wish you the best of luck, but I would never go there again. If you live in the area, we went up the street to Marianos, and they were very accommodating and made us a really nice pie.“

“Just left Roccos Pizza and had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Pete. He’s an absolutely gentleman and I wish him and the new pizzeria plenty of luck. I just say that the place was immaculately clean and has an old school Italy feel to it. Tried the Drunken Grandma Pie and it was delicious! It clearly has a homemade sauce and was made with the freshest of ingredients. They also have a great family meal deal where you get a pie, a dozen knots and a dozen wings. “This is probably one of the best, most caring, and conscientious restaurants that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They are affiliated with Too Good To Go so they are super conscious of food waste and helping out their community which is how I came to know of this place. I ordered their Surprise Bag. It was full of amazing food. The first visit was 6 slices of specialty pizza and a dozen knots. Every single item was well made and delicious. My second visit was a tough one and not because of this wonderful place but they made sure that I not only walked away happy and satisfied, but amazing well-fed. I was having a terrible time trying to get Uber to do my pick-up, it just wouldn't go through. My friend called them and said would you please just put our order outside and we will have someone get it (as they were at closing time). Instead the staff went above and beyond. They personally delivered my order and not only that but gave me this abundance of food I was incredibly grateful for. They have definitely earned my loyalty. I will forever be a customer here because their skill in the kitchen, their kindness, generosity, and understanding is an example to us all and deserves to be supported.“
