It is absolutely delicious. Delivery is so fast too and it’s piping hot when it gets here. I’m from jersey where the pizza was phenomenal so I’m a tough critic. Broadway pizza is amazing. Just order it or go there. You will be happy , I promise. One thing is I have no idea if it’s expensive or not. Pizza is not something I check prices on.“

The Italian sodas are also good, if you love natural ginger flavor, the apple ginger one for sure hits.“
“The owner of D&C apparently learned his craft at Umberto's so I was very tempted to try the Sicilian but Newsday really hyped their "pizza al metro", which is also a different type of rectangular pie. It reminds me of the pizza shops we visited in Rome. Some of the Roman pizza shops would sell "pizza al metro" (pizza by the metre), where they make long sheets of pizza and you would specify what length you wanted based on metres (or partial metres).ORDERING TIP: When ordering a metro pie, you actually get two pizza boxes worth of pizza as you can see from the picture. Each box has 6 above average sized square slices (versus 9 slices you usually get from a Sicilian pie) so keep that in mind when ordering. The squares are a little larger than an average sicilian but they are thinner than at Umberto's so the premium pricing is somewhat justified based purely on size. However, from a taste perspective, I am not so sure because I had a couple of issues with the metro Margherita pizza. First, the sauce to cheese ratio is very skewed towards being very saucy and the sauce is very acidic/tangy, which would not be that bad if there was more cheese providing richness to balance the acidity/tangy. But as you can see from the pics, the cheese is more of an afterthought rather than a co-star. Second, the dough is a bit dense, which I think is strange because it is supposed to be super-high hydration dough. The undercarriage is pretty good and there is a good amount of the bubbles that are characteristic of high hydration dough, but strangely, the airiness through the rest of the dough was missing.Given the owner's background, Ihave to come back and try their Siclian.“
“Have passed this pizzeria many times and never went in cause I just thought the parking was too difficult . Someone told me today that this was their favorite pizza in Plainview ( it at the border of Plainview and Hicksville on Woodbury road and south oyster bay road). I asked why and he said , it's the cheesiest! Anyway, I decided to try it and was very pleased. I had a cauliflower pizza which was excellent and I could present it was healthier. The regular slice was also good and really cheesy as promised. Inside the dining room is nicer than you can tell from the outside. The staff are efficient and accommodating. You can park on the street , but they DO have a parking lot in back, around the corner. Gotta say, although I haven't been here for 28 years, I plan to return.“

His personality is just was warm as the pizza we ordered! Not only did he carefully make and package our large order, but he so sweetly gave us 3 slices as my brother, my mom, and myself waited for our order after hearing they’re in town from Florida and were so excited for pizza! “I was very skeptical of this place at first, but it was amazing. So the concept is Italian-Mexican food. It works. And it works very well.We ordered 3 tacos as well as the surf and turf quesadilla. I was absolutely blown away by the taste and quality of everything. The quesadilla was one of the best I've had in a long time. The steak was juicy, the shrimp wasn't chewy, and the flavors were amazing. For tacos, we got the ital-Americano, chicken parm, and maialino. Every one was tasty in its own way. The Ital-Americano was super juicy, the chicken parm was just delicious chicken parm in a shell, and the mialino was juicy with just the right amount of spice.I need to remember next time to sign up for the rewards program since I know I'll be back there a lot.Parking: Parking all over.“

It was so good I even called the next day to tell them how great they were . Everything from start to finish was fantastic. We had the wings ,which are the best wings I ever had. “Great find. I was in the neighborhood and found this place. It had that local pizza joint feel and felt very homey. I had a slice with a perfect fold and pepperoni garlic knots. That was just lunch. “Nice Italian neighborhood restaurant with a family dining appeal. Large dining area with wait service. Menu had plenty of options - but we were focused on the pizzas. Table bread and butter worked up an appetite, but lacked the fresh baked aroma. Calamari and chicken Francese pizzas were pretty awesome and very different. A little tough to eat the slices with the heavy and saucy toppings, but a fork and knife worked like a charm. Happy to return for another round.“

“My daughter and I used to be regulars in this pizzeria. They offer a dish I have found nowhere else I've ever eaten. So I just so happen to look them up on here. All the food is great but the Chicken mona Lisa steals the show. My hours used to be crazy but the family would allow my daughter and I to dine while they were cleaning up and technically closed for the day. My daughter is now 24 and has a son of her own but we still reminisce about the good times in this establishment. The family atmosphere was as 2nd to none. “I had to get a catering order in quickly for a weekday event. The gentleman who took care of my order was so helpful. He offered choices that were good for the event size and type. The storefront is a little difficult to get to during dinner time because it shares the parking lot with a very popular restaurant that does a valet service for their patrons, which means cars and crammed and lined up where you need to go. Villa Maria has a few of their parking spots, so as long as you're able to get through the mess in the front, there should be space in the back. They threw in garlic bread for free & made sure that the food was packaged very well. I had brought my own boxes to anticipate difficult transfer, but there was no need. Food was pretty good, stayed hot until I needed to serve it. It looks a little run down inside, but I would say this is a pretty solid joint for take-out. I would order a catering package from them again.“

They have a big selection of slices available , I usually get the brick oven pizzetta which is delicious. Their garlic knots are some of the best around. They also have pasta nights and chicken nights where there are specials on those dishes.
