“Great little breakfast joint right down off the arterial. Super friendly, and definitely a local favorite. Sit at the counter and talk to Joe while he cooks and you won’t be disappointed. The servings size is great, the bacon is crispy, the home fries are real and the coffee is hot. I’ll be going back!“

“Initially, walking in this place is a little rough looking, also it gets a little chilly, and the heater is a little bit loud. In the dining room area. The food was great. Hashbrowns came out very hot with their seasoning which tasted great. It looks like they dice the potato which gives the consistent cook. The eggs, Benedict and mushroom omelette also tasted amazing. This place is very reasonable also. Service is great.“

“We arrived at Marr-Logg around 8:00 a.m. on a Sunday. When we arrived, we were immediately acknowledged and greeted by a server. We took our seats. There were plenty of booths and tables to choose from. They appear to have three rows of booths with tables in the middle of the aisles, allowing them to accommodate a large number of people at once. I was concerned that if the restaurant was small and we arrived at 8 a.m., it would already be crowded, but this was not the case. Our server informed us that she would be the only server for a short period of time until more servers arrived. It is unusual for the server to give you a heads up, so we appreciated her doing so.I ordered the standard fare of two eggs, juice, home fries, bacon, and Italian toast. The server asked if I wanted soft or hard crust Italian bread; I had no idea what the difference was, and she said she preferred the hard crust; it's a "East Utica thing," so I went with her recommendation. The toasts were delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the texture was fluffy and delicious.I prefer my home fries deep fried, but they only cook them on the grill, so I requested crispy potatoes. My potatoes were not as crispy as requested, but they were perfectly seasoned and cooked throughout (not hard, as if it hadn't finished cooking), so I didn't mind. The portion was neither too small nor too large—it was just right and filled me up! It is usually hard to get full with breakfast food, but I left satisfied! The prices were reasonable.I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast! ??“

“One of the best kept secrets around. I pulled up and thought it was a small little hole in the wall, but when we went in, it was awesome. The waitress told us it was redone a few years ago and it’s awesome. On top of that, the food was great and the service was friendly and refilled our cups many times. Definitely adding this place to my list for frequent visits!Vegetarian options: Great vegetable omelette“

“My women friends and I love to go out to breakfast and lunch. We have hit many a diner for breakfast. Liz wins HANDS DOWN. Liz's is run by Liz. She takes the orders (she has a wonderful waitress on weekends only) she cooks your food , she serves your food HOT. She is a great cook and takes pride in her food. She makes the best fried eggs I HAVE EVER HAD!! You would not think someone could make the best fried eggs, but Im telling you , the absolute best. Liz also offers lunch, all homemade food. If you have not tried this hidden little gem, head over to Liz's in Mohawk, you will not be let down.“

“Really great spot for breakfast! I love the 50’s themed decor in the diner and love that they host car shows in the summer. Their breakfast menu is very large and there are a lot of great options. Their pancakes are very fluffy and delicious and I really liked how perfectly crispy my bacon was. The free refills on the coffee was also an added bonus. The breakfast specials on the front of the menu are very large, so bring a big appetite if you are trying to clear your plate!“

“We had the pleasure of visiting the Knight Spot Ice Cream Parlor tonight, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! As soon as I heard that my good friend Al Palumbo was bringing back this childhood favorite, I knew I had to check it out. And boy, am I glad I did! Walking up to the window, I was immediately hit with a wave of nostalgia. My children were just as excited as I was to experience the same joy that I had when I was their age. Now, let's talk about the ice cream. Phenomenal doesn't even begin to describe it! The flavors were out of this world, and I appreciated the fact that they had both classic and unique options to choose from. My personal favorite was the Pistachio flavor burst. Salvano loved the Blue Goo (cotton candy)! To top it all off, the service was fantastic. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and they even let my kids sample a few different flavors before making their final decision. All in all, my experience at the Knight Spot Ice Cream Parlor was nothing short of amazing. I can't wait to go back and try some more flavors with my family. Thank you, Al, for bringing back this childhood gem!“
