It was tasty, huge, and cooked perfectly.I grew up outside of NYC and the slice here was almost a good as any I’ve had.The ambiance is lacking and it’s not a fancy olde but for a quick bite and a great slice I would recommend them. Counter service was also good and the staff was friendly.“
“Had another fabulous dining experience at Joeys. We brought another couple to try out the restaurant. We sampled many appetizers including the oysters (MUST GET, trust me), calamari, antipasto, Italian greens, fried provolone bruschetta. The only time our table stopped chatting lol is because the appetizers were that good.Our dinners came properly after our apps. My party ordered off the main menu and the special menu entrees. Again everything delicious. Such big portions we all had to go containers.Just a great dining experience. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you.“

“I heard good things before and was traveling through so i decided to stop.Glad I did, the slices looked good but nothing spoke to me so I got a small meatball sub. After crushing the first half I decided I needed to take a pic and leave a review. It was that good. I imagine anything with the red sauce will be choice because it's delicious.Service was great and the food came out really fast.“

“Recently moved to the area and stopped by this place on a whim. Upon entering was hit with this amazing smell. After enquiring of it's source we were directed to their sausage rolls. Grabbed a Sicilian sausage roll for my family and trust me when I say it was more than enough food to feed three of us for pretty cheap too!“
“I ordered 20 wings and a large, everything but anchovies (EBA) pizza. The food was incredibly good but I had to pick my jaw up off the floor when they told me it was $65. I learned my lesson. Next time I'll order a small or medium-sized pizza.“

“First time here with my husband. Amanda was our waitress and answered all our questions. I had chicken parmigiana and my husband had chicken sontino. I couldn’t finish my dinner and brought leftovers home. The food was absolutely delicious! We will be back to try something else on the menu.“

“O'Scugnizzo's offers a pizza like no other. The pizza sauce is on top of the pizza and with cheese and other toppings underneath. Some call it upside down pizza, it should just be called "Great!" There is a reason this place has been open for over 100 years and is the second oldest pizzeria in the US.The chicken riggies are also another unique Utica regional food which is a must try. Restaurant service was very good and staff was friendly. Make sure to see the photos of the original owner of the restaurant from 1914. This place a must stop if you are visiting Utica.Parking: The restaurant has it's parking lot and it looks like you can park for free on the streets near it.“
“Got a meatlovers and Everything sauce chicken pizza this go round. The meat lovers was on the salty side but tons of meat. I do not recommend the Everything sauce chicken pizza. I don't even think there was sauce on the pizza and what I could taste, tasted like it was just blue cheese. There wasn't much more to it other than scattered chicken pieces and cheese.“
“When I asked a local business for the best place to grab lunch in town it took about a millisecond to suggest Vinny's. She raved about their pizza and said it was the best. She was right. I had a slice of broccoli tomato as it had caught my eye when looking at the menu online. When I walked in and the lovely gal suggested it as her favorite, I knew I had to go for it and it was worth it. What I didn't know is that the Sicilian corner slice would be so simple - no toppings, just sauce and cheese - but life changing. That was pure happiness and the flavor was impressive. It's one of those big fat slices with goodness at every bite. It makes you want to go back to get another slice but you realize it is a big fat slice and it has expanded in your body to the point you decide to go try the garlic knots sitting next to you. Those were also incredible! In my experience I'm always disappointed in cheese bread, garlic bread, and appetizers like them when I order them. They lack flavor and character. That was so not the case with Vinny's garlic knots. I chose to dip them in marinara but snuck a few bites without sauce because I couldn't believe what my taste buds were telling me. I can only be grateful I enjoyed a fantastic lunch before the rush and that I don't live near it as I could see my fingers becoming too fat to type if I could eat like a king at Vinny's 3x a day.I was smart enough to have saved the freshly made cannoli for a little later in the day and it was so so so worth it. Perfect end to an A+ experience with Vinny & the crew.“

“I visited Salvatore's for the first time today with my family. The two things you should know about this place are that the prices are reasonable and that the portions are ENORMOUS! I ordered the ribeye focaccia sandwich with sweet potato fries. Both were incredibly tasty.Others in my group ordered a calzone, stuffed shells, and the chicken Caesar wrap. There was so much food we had to bring the leftovers home. Salvatore's homemade red sauce is so good I wish I could order a jar to take home with me. Next time you're in the area, drop in for a slice of pizza or order some chicken riggies and wings to go.Parking: Parking is in the back of the building, near the entrance, which is hard to see from the road near Herkimer High SchoolKid-friendliness: Salvatore's is a great place to bring kids for pizza, sandwiches, and fries!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair accessible ramp right next to the handicapped parking spaces, BUT you'll need someone to open the doors for you.“
“Even though we were really looking forward to our first visit to Tavolo - it was a little disappointing.The service was good (not great) and it’s a pleasant vibe - we sat outdoors - but the traffic along Genesee St takes away from the overall experience. My feeling is that at a higher end restaurant service should be near perfect and the food should be mind blowingly good, which was not the case on either count.We shared their Utica style greens (our server told us that they’re the inventor of that dish) and were super happy. Great flavor, nice spice and kick, as expected.Our meals weren’t as good as we would have hoped. I had their NY strip steak and it was grizzly, although flavored properly. My wife had their shrimp and salmon meal and while she said the shrimp was really good; she also thought the salmon was lacking overall.It could be we caught them on a bad night - it happens. But in the overall it was less than expected compared to what we had hoped for. Perhaps another visit will be better.“

“OMG...What a HIDDEN GEM!!!This place is very unassuming. I was not expecting much of anything, especially bcuz there was nothing on the menu that jumped out and spoke to me.I ordered the Longhots for an appetizer. During the wait for the food to come to my table, I kept seeing dish after dish coming out to other patrons, and they ALL looked amazing.I took another stab at the menu, and still nothing on those pages stood out... So, I said to myself that if this appetizer is good, then I'm eating here. It was fantastic!!!I then waved the waitress over and asked her for a recommendation. She started going over the general points of the menu, and I had to stop her and say, "I don't want to hear about the menu. What would YOU recommend?"She gave me a thumbs up on the chicken cutlet sandwich that I had told her I had my eye on and then also recommended the chicken parm rigatoni in the vodka sauce. I got both.These two meals were so amazingly delicious that I was absolutely floored.The sandwich: top marks, the cutlet was nicely thin, and so was the breading. It was also still moist, which is difficult for a hammered piece of meat like that. Again, top marks.That rigatoni though...lemme tell you what, that vodka sauce is where it's at!!! I have never had a sauce so good. Truly. I have had plenty of sauces, and plenty of vodka sauces at that. This blew everything out the water! I mean, seriously, this sauce has ruined me. I loved it that much!!I couldn't believe how wonderful the food was after having such low expectations about the unassuming restaurant itself, the menu, none of it spoke of how shockingly good the food absolutely was.“
