“I went in for the first time 8/15/22 they were very nice to me I told them it was my first time in the store and that saw their reviews on a great sandwich and I told them I would like a Italian hero with a lot of meat they didn’t disappoint on that at the end I introduced myself as Ray and to let them know I just want to let you know who I am because I’ll be back again as a steady customer and Carlos introduced himself this place is heaven thanks for being nice appreciated the service.“

“Stopped in here for a quick bfast. Got bacon egg and cheese on a roll and wasn't disappointed. They crack real eggs, pile on crispy bacon and it all goes on a nice fluffy roll. Quick and efficient service. Will be back again next time I'm in the area. Happy I checked them out.“

“Thank God there are still places like this on Long Island. Old school Italian deli. I stopped by because I was in the area and read the reviews. Ordered an Italian hero with hot cherry peppers. Just delicious. Ate half brought my wife the rest. Ofcourse I can't wait for the hero to be made and not grab a Manhattan special vanilla creme soda.... and a fresh Mozz.... and a loaf of Italian bread.. lol. “I was working locally and decided to grab lunch from Wheeler Deli after reading the reviews. The deli is smaller and quaint but has a large case of Boars Head meats, salads, and desserts. I ordered an American Hero, sides of macaroni salad, and potato salad, and a piece of the banana bread. They got right to making my order and the wait time was less than 5 minutes. My sandwich was fresh, crisp, and delicious. The salads were creamy and had great flavor. The banana bread was outstanding; dense and sweet and flavorful. The total for food and a drink was less than $25 which was a great value. I’ll be back.“

“My son and I went here after I did my research to find the best delis in Hell’s Kitchen, and this was consistently the top answer. We had limited time in NYC, so every place we visited had to count, and Sergimmo’s did not disappoint. I had a Caesar salad, while my son had a Pasta al Pomodoro e Basilico. “I've been coming from Orange County every week for the last 2 years to watch my grandsons a few days each week. We make it part of our day to take a walk and always stop in for a snack or a sandwhich. Sam and his wife are lovely, friendly people and always make a fuss over the babies. The store is immaculate and the Korean food is not to be missed. The Bulgogi hero is my favorite go to sandwhich....Highly recommend !“

Get one of their sandwiches (I recommend corned beef) and for about 12 bucks you have a fine lunch or dinner.“

“The hot food here (Latin Food) is made fresh daily and it's pretty. You get a decent portion for 1 for $5. Breakfast sandwiches starting at $3 so you can't go wrong and the cold cut hero's are enormous to some really good brewed coffee. Not much on the negative to say except that it would be nice if they carried a larger variety of drink but from canned goods to cleaning supplies to house hold items and an ATM this deli has a lot to offer at good prices.“

The food is way better now. The staff is cool.

My favorite hot lunch is grilled chicken with provolone and Russian dressing on a plain wrap.
