“Stopped by on a quick trip to Salamanca on a Friday afternoon, stopping in around 5 pm. There were several vehicles in the parking lot, always a good sign at rural restaurants in my experience. We sat at the bar and were immediately waited upon getting our drinks quickly. They had your standard bar selection, just what you'd expect with Southern Tier beer on tap. The interior has a quirky outdoorsy atmosphere, there are antique guns everywhere on the walls. Cool animal mounts are abundant, highlights include: jackalopes, a warthog, and possibly the largest taxidermy squirrel I've ever seen. The bar top was also clean, no crumbs or sticky spots.The menu had a good variety of offerings: maybe 15 apps, steaks, burgers, sandwiches, soups and salads. The people I was with were raving about the clam chowder soup. So I had to try it, i love soups and get them with almost any meal. They had about 5 specials written on a board by the door. The French Onion Prime Rib caught my eye. It can be a risk, but I've had some of the best prime rib in places like this. Our soups came out quickly and it was pretty good clam chowder. It's a thicker chowder and very creamy with nice chunks of potato and a decent amount of clams. Served with a package of oyster crackers, I added a little black pepper and housed the bowl. The side salad from the prime rib came out almost at the same time. It's a side salad that comes with a big chunk of beef, let's be honest it's not why you're ordering the meal, but it was fresh and their Italian dressing was above average. You're not just getting Wishbone in a cup.The star of the show was the French Onion prime rib. I order mashed potatoes and gravy as my potato, they came in a small crock with the steak. I ordered it medium rare and it came with a generous amount of caramelized onions and melted cheese that was broiled to a light golden brown. The steak came out a little closer to medium than medium rare, probably a byproduct of melting the cheese, but it was delicious none the less. The beef was tender and the flavor combination was awesome. The mashed potatoes and gravy were good, nothing to get excited about but provided a nice compliment to the prime rib. The Horseshoe Inn was a great experience: quick service, good food, and an interesting atmosphere. It wasn't super busy when we were there with maybe 4 other parties in the restaurant. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area, maybe try the wings and French onion soup next time.“
“I just want to say how excited I was to have a “Dukinfield” salad again. I’ve been eating that particular salad for years and years at “Shorty’s”, and was so sad when it no longer showed up on their menu. But last night, when I asked the waitress about possibly getting a similar salad made, she checked with the kitchen and they served me one! Delicious!!! I really appreciate the extra effort put in to make my dinner experience as good as ever!! PS. Love the outdoor dining area!!“
“Owner's were excellent walked around talked to the table. Food was very good and they were constantly filling your coffee, checking in on you. Great experience ended up going to Allen Street because Lisciandro's was closed and I can honestly say it was a very good experience and I would recommend it to you.“
“really only complaint I have is the eggs.. we had a party of 8 , I ordered the corned beef hash with over easy eggs which should have a very nice runny yoke, eggs had hard yokes, 3 others ordered the eggs Benedict and the same with the hard yokes, the others had scramble eggs and French toast. idk what was going on that they messed up the eggs so bad. atmosphere was great server was great, we didn't say anything because we was on a schedule.. I'm from out of town so idk if I'll ever get there again.“

I'm not typically a fan of Reuben's, but this place has the best I've ever had and would definitely get again! The interior is small but great atmosphere with Irish music and darts. “We went to the iconic Ribs N Bones for the first time. Passed so many times and said we must go some time. Our Friday Night Out group met there this month. Recommend couples consider splitting an entree as they're huge. We shared the seafood bake as it is lent, but even sharing it was more than the two of us could finish. Nearly all of our 20 plus group took food home. Service was excellent -- shout out to Chloe who managed to serve all of us. The ambiance is wonderful in this historic site, and in warmer weather the outside area would be open for additional options.Vegetarian options: There are small vegetarian and vegan options, but this is really a meat and potatoes based menu.“
“OK... this nice family owned place is not fancy ... but clean and friendly. It is obvious they work hard to keep the prices low and still provide fresh and tasty food. Do not be put off by the strip mall location. They will give you a great breakfast ... period. The pancakes are delicious ?! A local gem. Thanks for a great experience.“
“Good old fashioned lunch counter diner where the grills and fryers are right in front of you. Food quality was very good. Over easy eggs cooked perfectly, sausage not over done and above average home fries. Companion loved the French toast. Prices are great. Paid about $ 22 for two breakfasts. Often pay $30 elsewhere. Good coffee and generous refills. Service was very good. Neither one of us had been here in many years and wanted to check it out. It was worth the trip.“

I didn't know this place existed until I was walking past it. I must have driven by it dozens of times. “Small business owners are going through hard times, but the food is GREAT, SERVICE IS TERRIFIC,well off the beaten path as far as city roads, looks small from outside, but plenty more room inside and the children play guitar and flute and really enjoy it for customers! NEED to check this OUT! We were 3 family members and we had 3 different things to eat.There were other customers too.Vegetarian options: Lettuce, tomato sandwiches, garden salad, etc.Kid-friendliness: Meals for children and the owners LOVE kids!Parking: Gravel parking lot, close to the road, not good for the big rig truck drivers.Wheelchair accessibility: Wood ramp for wheelchair and they have stairs too, both are short and not long or steep. “When we got there it was packed. We were told there would be a 15 minute wait but it was only about 10. The service was amazing. “We wanted to try a new place. Prices weren't too bad, waitress was good. The good did take a bit to receive, but maybe we were all just really hungry. There are so many menu items it was hard to choose. But we all were very impressed with our dinners. 2 of us got burgers and they were absolutely phenomenal. “Shawbucks never disappoints. They have some of my favorite wings around. The pan fried are in a league of their own, and the normal deep fried are cooked to perfection. Pot Roast and Chicken Ala Delicious are great, too! The bread you get with them is amazing!“
“Met some friends here for lunch, the dining room is on the smaller side, but there were plenty of tables and booths available. It has a bar when you walk in to the left so the party is in front! We really enjoyed the food, there was alot of conversation about the seafood salad not being available for the few people that were there so it must be a hit! The waitress was friendly & attentive and the place looked clean. I would certainly return and eat here again. I bet it is packed for Bills games judging by the Bills related items on the walls.“
“Gluten and soy-free diner here. First, my wife and I need to thank the reservations staff who answered the phone late yesterday afternoon and were able to squeeze us in for dinner. We were not disappointed! Their space is bright, and it overlooks Chautauqua Lake. Our server, Gabby, helped me navigate their menu, and she let me know that I could order gluten-free pasta with my crab, scallops, and shrimp scampi. It was topped with Parmigiano cheese and tomatoes, and it was delicious! My wife's Filet Mignon was cooked to her liking (medium rare), so we were two for two. For dessert, Gabby mentioned that they had one gluten-free offering. But she did not know if it was soy-free. Thankfully, she checked because the ingredient list, which she brought to our table, because their gluten-free dessert did contain soy lecithin. “Some of the best service I’ve ever had- the bar staff is incredibly attentive & intuitive. The house cocktails delight all the senses of the tounge, and their fries are a superb compliment to the main dishes. Google maps navigation made parking a bit difficult (bar is attached to the Hilton doubletree) but otherwise this has been a lovely place to eat food, relax, and have a drink“

We are adding this place to our roster of dinner locations. I got wings and they were so good. My fiancee got a sub and she loved it. My dad got an Italian wrap. Everything came out exactly to order. I really have to give props to our waitress. She went above and beyond.“
“Depending on what you order the food is wonderful. Sometimes the ham is a bit dry or the chicken in your salad can be less than appetizing. I prefer grilled chicken but anytime I've ordered it on my salad it's been awful. I'm not sure if they put the less preferred so now I just order the fried chicken to make sure it's fresh.“
“Great diner Experience. Sausage gravy & biscuits the way I'd make it at home. With so many restaurants cutting corners with canned foods ( like this or alfredo sauce and the preservatives that go with it) it is great to enjoy a "home made" style breakfast.“
