“You kinda gotta have a certain taste for music and atmosphere. However, it has the nicest staff and most welcoming regulars. The food is just genuinely good and the drinks are not skimpy by any definition. Rather be here than most bars in WNY.“
“For years people have wondered ‘can a rack of ribs solve everything?' As you may expect, as with most fairly broad questions, the answer isn't exactly straightforward. Still, I feel that this is an important question, and one that deserves an answer, so I'm going to do my best to tackle its intricacies in my review, below.“
“I have been coming here for years. I moved away for a couple years and when I came back I saw the store was remodeled and honestly it killed the vibe. There use to be a nice rustic feel, but with all the white paint it feels like a landlord discovered the minimalist tag on pintrest, but I digress.The best thing on the menu ise to be their creamy potato soup, but I feel as though they changed the recipe slightly. It is not as good as before the remodel. Also it is inconsistant. There are times where it is incredible, and times where it is very liquidy and flavorless.However, their pizza is incredible. I have yet to have anything with red sauce, but their pistachio pizza is some of the best pizza I have ever had.Lastly my biggest complaint is their hours.Again before the remodel they closed at 7pm. Granted that could also be a covid thing, but being that this is the only true cafe in the town, it is a shame that they close at 4pm. I rave about their pizza to my friends and family, only to disapoint them to tell them they cant order it for dinner.“
“Like the label says, it's definitely more restaurant than brewery. So no flights but a good beer list. Strangely there were only two beers from EBC on said list. But it was heavily focused on local beers, which was great. The building is very cool-looking inside and it was a nice place to just sit and have a drink. Service was very good(she kept a really watchful eye on the level in my glass). Didn't have the usual "buy some 4-packs" setup available.“
“The portions are large, a large soft serve is about 14" above the cone!! The girls at the counter could be nicer, the one with blonde hair was quite rude. Not sure where customer service has gone anymore. Too bad because the staff really make or break the atmosphere. Perhaps she should cook and not serve the customers.“
“my daughter was up her for a softball camp at Ferdonia. she may want to go there. not a lot open yet at noon. saw some bad yelp reviews but it looked nice. these poor yelp reviews are either the competition bad mouthing or a bad day. we were greeted right away. always checked on and the food we got was really good. also a big thumbs up to our server Alycia. Turns out she graduated with the same field my daughter was Interested in and was a wealth of info both for the school and area!!“
“Great to hear they are open 24/7 again especially when you need a place to hang out late at night. And hungry.Great staff and kind people food was well made and the waitress did a great job on her first day ? thank you for being open when no one else was. “I’m not sure I want to give up this little gem, they’re making my breakfast easy and amazing. I love the “handsome breakfast sandwich”!You’ll want to enter in on their side door between Lynx and Central. I oughta park on Lynx if I dine here, and use central for PU.Their food is fresh and tastes amazing, way better than Tim Hortons, and no line early in the morning around 0800. Had my breakfast ready in less than 10 minutes! Amazing.Parking: To dine in, park on Lynx, to take out, park on Central“
“Krista came highly recommended to us for catering a special celebration that we recently hosted! Wow, she did not dissappoint! Everything was PERFECT from the ease of ordering, to the many choices offered, and the professional staff! We chose a variety of food for a buffet and the food was outstanding!! There was so much attention to detail in everything! So many extras included! And sooo much delicious food that we enjoyed the next few days as well! I highly recommend Krista and her team and really look forward to ordering again!“
“Any minor complaints about this place were quickly nullified when the huge onion rings came out. And our waitress was absolutely amazing and attentive to our needs. We had a large group and it took a little long for some items but it was still a good experience. Highly recommend!“
“Wow, Wow, Wow. Several weeks ago we visited the Nickel Plate for the first time on a Sunday for dinner with friends. The young man who acted as bartender and server was most hospitable and did a superb job. Food was great and the prices are very reasonable. The place is laid back and very close to the railroad tracks so train lovers will get a thrill. Our second visit was this past Monday which happened to be "open mike night" starting at 7. The food again was excellent and the musical talent was great. You really need to put this hidden jem on your bucket list. By the way we hear that Wednesdays are 50 cent wing night and they are reported to be very good. Also on Mondays they had $5.99 4 ounce burger or roast beef on wick for the same price.“
“We stopped here for lunch and so glad we did! Awesome little spots like this used to be all over the area when I was growing up, but they've all since went away. The food is made fresh and is delicious. The seating area with all the planter boxes around it is full of charm. The owner brought us out a treat and let my son pick some blackberries which made his day. Thank you for the great food and service! We will support your business anytime we visit the area.“
“We have now gone to the country club 2 Friday's in a row and are going back again this Friday. Everyone in our group raved about their food. Friday's menu is limited to mostly fish but they have a great choice. Friends of ours went back during the week and had burgers which they raved about.“

And had the breakfast sandwiches this morning it’s a really good deal you can get two for $7, and they are cooked fresh and with love! “Honestly the best place to get food in fredonia. I know that is a loaded statement, but there are a few things to back it up.For starters the food, it is slightly above average quality. I have not had anything from there that I didn't like.Am I wowed by the food? No. It is a brunch place, be real.However, the food never disapoints, and for the price you pay, it exceeds expectations. Most of the breakfast items are half the cost of denys, and yet three times better.The staff is very friendly.There is genuinely no downside to this restaurant.Perhaps the fact its not open for dinner throughout the week, but honestly it does not need to be.In comparison to the other options on main street, it is your best choice.“
