“My brother, his wife, and I went to this establishment for lunch and were seated outside, since it was such nice weather on that day. We ordered spinach & artichoke dip and boneless wings as starters, which we gladly enjoyed; and Leo's BBQ ribs, the Trojan Chicken, and the Teriyaki skirt steak for the entrees. Each dish was quite delicious, although my sister-in-law found the steak a bit salty for her tastes. The staff were kind and very attentive as well. Personally, the Trojan chicken was my favorite out of the entrees. It came with a side of yellow rice, and the grilled chicken was topped with mushrooms and cheese. I highly recommend it!”

This time, we had a server who forgot to provide us with the cards to turn over to show we had the full experience. We kept wondering why the servers would walk by us and not offer any of the meat choices. Finally, another server came over and asked if we was ok, and we explained what we did not receive. She provided us with the cards, and we began to receive the food. I wish we got it at the beginning as we missed out on a lot of different meats. Guess the 1st server was really busy. The managerial staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Melissa, our server, explained everything so well, and she took her time with us. The wait staff worked with her seamlessly so that everything came out on time, and our water glasses were always full. The cuisine offered so many different choices, even for vegetarians and vegans. The vegetarian dishes I tried were a myriad of flavors, and it was so nice to experience new creations that I have never had at any other restaurant. While this coffee shop offers no table service, the cafeteria style ordering gives you a chance to see all the day's offerings and to peruse their menu board. They make great soups, salads, and sandwiches as well as daily hot lunch specials. Often, I would take home lunch for dinner, especially their Swedish Meatballs and Egg Noodles, Sausage and Peppers, and Chicken Francese. The office favorite is their BLT. A nice bonus if you dine in is their dining room. Decorated in rattan and light colors, it feels like the place belongs far south of Long Island. It is a great spot to meet a friend for lunch and catch up on cable News 12. They draw a business crowd, but the line moves so you can enjoy your lunch.”

Prices are reasonable and who wouldn’t want complimentary bread?!? So happy to finally have had the famous garden city bistro wrap after 4 years! Great stuff!”

“So I had my wedding here at Seventh Street Cafe on July 6. I would say from jump street the service was absolutely amazing. The fact that Brooke worked with me and gave me such great ideas on a tight timeline was amazing! She suggested that I could have my ceremony and a luncheon and I liked that! Brooke answered every one of my questions and was always available and I loved that! She even went above and beyond and opened up earlier on the day of so my bridesmaids can help with set up and that is something I will remember. Even when me and my fiance came in and had an early dinner, the food was amazing! But anywho, even when she wasn't there, the staff was so accommodating and worked with me and let me know everything would be fine and gave me a clear idea of what the room looked like. So the day comes and when I saw the room ( I used the Victoria Room btw) I was floored! Everything was beautifully set up and like I said the staff was absolutely amazing! Everything went so smooth the transition from ceremony to luncheon was smooth and the food was absolutely amazing! I wish I could try everything from off that menu! My guests loved their food and raved about the setup! Seventh Street really did an amazing job on one of the most important days of my life! Thank you so so much!!!!! Now on to the people
Their is only two people I think deserved a raise or to be promoted
First is the older black women on espresso bar she was so sweet and kind and she listened to me when I had concerns about my order and I love how she sings my name when calling it instead of yelling at me like a catholic school
Next is the red head woman with the tattoo on her arm I had such a big order and she was efficient and read everything back and I have to tell you she made me comfortable when ringing up my order she was so sweet and kind and she even wrote a note on my bag with all of the food items inside
It reads “to the kind woman with all the amazing vibes and amazing stones necklaces just want to say I love your energy and vibes and it was a pleasure to ring you up and serve you today I hope you have a better day and get home safe and be safe and enjoy your food and drinks stay beautiful inside and out” that right there made my day which was horrible and it was raining so it made my rainy day so much better she even asked if I had any allergies because one of the drinks came with cinnamon what a gem she need to be promoted so idk who you are mystery girl but keep being amazing yourself
Then after her the girl from the espresso bar was kind and amazing and I loved her service
