“Visited Ruth's Chris on January 19, 2026 (the day before my birthday) for an early celebration with my wife—overall a good experience, but with some frustrations. The atmosphere was upscale and inviting, though very loud and crowded that evening, which made it feel a bit understaffed. We both enjoyed our meals; service was attentive and friendly, the hostess who sat us down noticed my upcoming birthday (likely from OpenTable) and asked whose it was. My wife pointed me out, and they treated us to a complimentary dessert, which was a nice touch and made it feel celebratory. However, our table was in a high-traffic area, so staff (servers, busboys) kept bumping my chair throughout the night, which was annoying and disrupted the meal. They apologized each time, which was appreciated, but it happened repeatedly.“

Shout-out to maître D Tory & Valerie.. Our waiters Jason & Freddy are definitely top notch with their service.. And Manager’s Cliff & Albert are extremely great hosts, they make you feel welcome and they were very attentive and genuine.. Thanks folks for your hospitality, great service and delicious food. “We dined at the Majors Restaurant in East Meadow. Dinner was delicious. I have no complaints about that. Here is my issue. Little, but it’s the principle. My husband ordered a cup of coffee after our $158 Dinner. The coffee came and when he put milk in it, I noticed it was really dark. I tasted it. WOW it was burnt, old & muddy. I called the waiter over and asked for a new brewed cup of coffee. He came back with a cup from the SAME pot. Normally I would of just moved on & left it. But when the bill came we were charged $3.50. For 1 cup of burnt coffee? Sorry it was the principle. If you are going to charge your clients $3.50 for a cup of coffee, invest in a Keurig where every cup is fresh. You make a great margin per cup?“

“We went to Peter Luger’s in Brooklyn to celebrate my son’s and my birthdays. Incredibly, it was our first time there. We will be back. Beautiful, old world atmosphere. The food was beyond delicious. Our waiters, Adi and Justin were friendly and professional. I read so many reviews that the wait staff was rude and cold. Don’t believe it for one second. All the waiters were attentive and checked to see how everything was going. Don’t miss the apple strudel and schlag. I’d give Peter Luger’s ten stars if I could. Can’t wait to return.“

“I really wanted to be away from too many people. I don’t like crowds too much and my frame of mind was such that I just wanted to sit and eat and just be at ease before my flight. I have had no prior experience with this restaurant nor T5 at JFK to begin with. I was greeted almost instantly when arrived and was seated within a minute. I would say within 15 or so minutes, the food arrived and it tasted delicious. I ordered buffalo wings, fries and a Pepsi. Whilst seated, I looked online for reviews and found it to be surprising since most were negative. I had a brief chat with my server and she was receptive towards my positive feedback. You can see the initial hesitancy at first because she probably figured I wanted to complain but it was the opposite. Her body language warmed up to me and she actually stroked up a secondary conversation just before I left. Basically, you will get better service when it’s not so busy. When I went, the place was 90% empty. Go brave!“
