“We had a great family dinner at The Capital Grille. We started with the calamari and lobster bisque—both were delicious, especially the rich and flavorful bisque. For our main dishes, my sea bass was perfectly cooked and the miso butter/shitake mushroom combination was velvety to the palate and delicious. The porcini-rubbed ribeye was outstanding. My kids enjoyed their burgers and fries, which were done just right. Great food, great service, and a wonderful overall experience. We'll definitely be back!“

The portions were beyond believable and believe it or not the take home portions were just as amazing as they were when first brought out. More than 5 stars. Chef note, the soups could be updated for broth flavor, the eggplant and tofu needs a sauce update. The nassau sushi is perfect. The shrimp tempura is perfect and the fry oil is Fresh! The owner is very attentive to the restaurant operation. I will return.“

“I love to travel, and Revel restaurant in Garden City, NY, is truly one of the best restaurants I have been to. The managerial staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Melissa, our server, explained everything so well, and she took her time with us. The wait staff worked with her seamlessly so that everything came out on time, and our water glasses were always full. The cuisine offered so many different choices, even for vegetarians and vegans. The vegetarian dishes I tried were a myriad of flavors, and it was so nice to experience new creations that I have never had at any other restaurant. Revel’s decor and lighting made us feel like we were somewhere very special but also comfortable. If I lived near this restaurant, I would visit frequently. We loved our experience.“

I ordered their tartar and typically a restaurant gives you chips to eat with it, but they gave three Pringles for the large amount of tartar, which is really unreasonable and when I asked for more they gave exactly 3 again. So while I would return, I would never order that again. “

“AMAZING! My husband and I booked a table for 23 for my son's baptism. We currently live in Las Vegas and the event coordinator Carolina made the experience so pleasant and smooth. She made this easy for us, did not pressure us and even gave tips and advice. She also followed up to make sure everything was accurate and if we needed anything else.She took care of everything so I had nothing to worry about. I kinda of gave her some lanterns and flowers and told her to do what she can to make this work for our tables and she did an amazing job. The food was outstanding, the staff was friendly and handled everyone's needs with respect and kindness. We had a dj so everyone was able to dance. The atmosphere was upscale and inviting, though very loud and crowded that evening, which made it feel a bit understaffed. We both enjoyed our meals; service was attentive and friendly, the hostess who sat us down noticed my upcoming birthday (likely from OpenTable) and asked whose it was. My wife pointed me out, and they treated us to a complimentary dessert, which was a nice touch and made it feel celebratory. However, our table was in a high-traffic area, so staff (servers, busboys) kept bumping my chair throughout the night, which was annoying and disrupted the meal. They apologized each time, which was appreciated, but it happened repeatedly.“

“I’ve been going to this restaurant for over 15 years. While I understand that food cost have gone up, putting a mandatory 18% tip on the check is not appreciated. I’m getting up numerous times to get my food, the wait staff brigs water and tea. I feel a 15% tip is more then enough.“

“This is a no frills Chinese take out restaurant. We ordered from the lunch specials and for the price, it was decent.The soup was fresh, and the chow fun was tasty. Overall, the food was good. There appeared to be only two people working there, so we were lucky to get our food as fast as we did. They do a lot of business, and people are constantly coming in to pick up food.We ate inside where they had three tables. It was raining outside, so it was nice to sit and eat. It was an average experience for a take out place. Nothing spectacular, but nothing terrible, either.

Parking: Depending upon what time of day you get here, it may be somewhat difficult to find parking. There are plenty of spaces for the disabled.“

“I've eaten here for years and never had any real complaints. But this last time was disappointing. The portion and flavor of chicken curry I got was good. But the sauce was more watery and thin than usual and the most disappointing was the naan. Normally that is my favorite part, but this time not only is the naan half the size but you can tell its from a package and not homemade. The old one you could tell was made fresh and cooked in the proper way and it was twice as big. If im paying $20 for an entree portion I at least expect the bread to be fresh and not pre packaged. Especially when I can spend a little more than half anywhere else in the food court for the same amount and food and it would include a drink.“

“So I had my wedding here at Seventh Street Cafe on July 6. I would say from jump street the service was absolutely amazing. The fact that Brooke worked with me and gave me such great ideas on a tight timeline was amazing! She suggested that I could have my ceremony and a luncheon and I liked that! Brooke answered every one of my questions and was always available and I loved that! She even went above and beyond and opened up earlier on the day of so my bridesmaids can help with set up and that is something I will remember. Even when me and my fiance came in and had an early dinner, the food was amazing! But anywho, even when she wasn't there, the staff was so accommodating and worked with me and let me know everything would be fine and gave me a clear idea of what the room looked like. So the day comes and when I saw the room ( I used the Victoria Room btw) I was floored! Everything was beautifully set up and like I said the staff was absolutely amazing! Everything went so smooth the transition from ceremony to luncheon was smooth and the food was absolutely amazing! I wish I could try everything from off that menu! My guests loved their food and raved about the setup! Seventh Street really did an amazing job on one of the most important days of my life! Thank you so so much!!!!! Parking: Theres always plenty of parking and there is a lot in the back thats free on the weekends.“
