“The best sandwiches in the New Paltz area are to be found here. The avocado BLT on focaccia bread is sensationally good if messy to eat. The brie and ham is also excellent, and of course the beef brisket sandwich.”

“I absolutely love this restaurant! Homemade pasta and bread and the Fruita di mare Fra diavolo is exceptional! The desserts are house made also. We had the tiramisu, a favorite of ours, and theirs is exceptional. We eat here every time we visit the area. You won't be disappointed!”

“You can't beat a $10 breakfast burrito with chicken! Very close to hiking trails and has delicious flavors! The carne asada tacos were not chewy at all which is amazing because at a lot of places it's too chewy! Can't wait to come back!”

“Do not judge this place based on solely on what angry orchard releases commercially. This is where they work on their upscale and experimental ciders. As such you will find something for every palette here: sweet, dry, barrel aged, rose,… you name it, they’ve tried it.

I am especially fond of their wooden sleeper series and look forward to the release events for each of the annual verities (wassail especially).

It’s difficult to recommend food as the offerings are always changing, but you can count on getting something to eat weather from their kitchen or a visiting food truck or a local pop-up.

They often have fun events and live music. Make sure to check their website before visiting to see if there is an event going that you’d like to participate in. I’ve see new release events, cider float events, ugly sweater party’s, apple blossom festivals, Kentucky derby viewing events, themed trivia events, board game nights, and so much more.”

It has amazing flatbread pizza with all the gourmet toppings you can think AND they have a few dinner specials that are absolutely delicious. Lastly, everything is fresh, tasty and not overly priced. “100% recommend novellas! We just recently celebrated our wedding there and we had the best. Time. They made the entire wedding process so easy for us, with menu items, decor, timelines, everything. You name it, they did it! Bryce, Chloe, and their entire team were so helpful and kind. So willing to step up to plate, and the food was DELICIOUS. Super affordable and convenient as well, and they answered any and every question they had. Our special day was made even better thanks to the wonderful work of their staff and the beautiful scenery of their venue. My guests and family were overjoyed and welcomed happily by all of them, and I’m incredibly grateful! “This weekend was my first time visiting New Paltz and my girlfriend and I stopped by this place as soon as we saw pickles (I love pickled food) I bought a pineapple habanero hot sauce and a jar of their dill pickles with garlic. The hot sauce was absolutely fantastic, very spicy just as the owner warned me, but delicious and the pickles were so acidic and tart yet sweet and savory. They have lots of things like pickled jalapenos, different home made juices and mixes and a lot of sandwiches, Frank's is a must stop for anyone who likes pickled foods with good sandwiches with great sauces.”
