“This place was wonderful, filled with many charming areas, the wine and beer was really good and the staff were kind and accommodating and talented. We were there for the eclipse and it was the perfect setting. We will definitely come back when we are in the area. Big recommend. Do the four flights! The Linden Social Club Cocktail Bar • $$
12 Linden St, Geneva

“This is my favorite spot in Geneva. It is a bar with a unique atmosphere with thoughtfully crafted cocktails and a creative menu that changes pretty often. I'm not sure where they found their chef, but he comes up with some of the most amazing dishes that are both aesthetically pleasing and full of flavor. They have daily specials that are worth checking out and they do brunch on Sundays. I highly recommend the beef bulgogi nachos, they are my favorite dish that is a constant on the menu. They also occasionally do fun specials for certain holidays. For example, they had a New Orleans themed menu of drinks and food for Mardi Gras this year which was fantastic. This place is definitely worth checking out if you're in Geneva.“

Honest to god the best seasoned and perfectly crispy home fries that I have ever had. My fiancé got the Eclipse Pancakes (it was eclipse day afterall!!) and the pancakes were deliciously huge and fluffy. Will definitely return on our next trip to the finger lakes. “After doing some google searching, I came across this brewery during my first visit to Geneva, NY. When driving up, I felt like I was transported to an area in Europe! I'm definitely a sucker for any brewery with resident dogs. I loved all the label designs, and general decor of this place. While not all the beers were to my personal liking, there was a nice variety, and I appreciated the chocolate pairing option during my visit. I didn't get a chance to try the food due to the time I arrived, but the menu looked good.“

Zugibe Vineyards - Wine With A View. Wineries • $$
4248 E Lake Rd, Geneva

“We enjoyed this, but can't quite give it 5 stars. The wines were good. As well as the charcuterie. Atmosphere and views are also great! The tasting just wasn't the experience that we enjoy most: pre-designed flight and just the information on a sheet of paper.“

Scout Vineyards Winery •
468 NY-14, Penn Yan - 8.66 miles

“My husband and I have visited the Fingerlakes Wine region for many years, but have yet to visit Scout Vineyards. The owner told us it was newer - established in 2020. The winery is small and reservations are recommended. My family happened to hit the timing perfectly and we were able to be seated for a tasting at one of the three tables. The list of five - six wines is very white wine-heavy. Although I am normally a red wine drinker, I thoroughly enjoyed the whites. The chardonnay was crisp, and it was an interesting experience tasting the 2021 and 2022 Reislings side-by-side. The tasting was fifteen dollars and you got a plate of locally-made eats: fresh baguettes and dried fruit. The owner even gave my five and seven-year-old their own food plate to nosh on while my husband and I tasted the wines. The owner was very nice and extremely professional. Bottles of wine to purchase range in the 20-30 dollar range. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We will certainly be back.“

“It's like going home to see your favorite relatives! So warm, friendly and informed they are a craft brewery. I was very impressed with the laid-back atmosphere and everyone in general. My daughter-in-love had our sons 50th birthday party there. What an enjoyable experience for everyone! It's totally two thumbs up from me and I look forward to the next visit!!“

Fox Run Vineyards Wineries • $$
670 NY-14, Penn Yan - 9.49 miles

“Dry Rose 2022 was (is) a great wine for sharing over a friendly brunch with friends. No matter how particular and fussy some people are about what they consider to be "good" wine or proper pairings (not that they are all that expert!), everyone enjoyed and filled their glass for a second time (and a couple for a third!). Good thing I had bottles in reserve! A very friendly and enjoyable wine that complemented without competing with brunch. A good choice.“
