Everything is great, but go for the recommendation of the owner when you order your tapas. Get a pitcher of sangria, it's authentic not too sweet.

The owner gives a personal treatment and the place is not big and fills up quickly. There is hardly a chance for a walk-in. Reserve your spot ahead of time, it's worth it!“

“What a gem for Portchester! The wife and a had a few drinks as well as shared a bunch of items. Any place that has this selection of roasted veggies is a keeper. They tried to sell us on their steaks but we weren't in the mood. The Lamb Merguez was delicious as was the Harissa Beef.“

“We had a lovely anniversary celebration at the Polo Lounge Westbury Manor. Oscar was our waiter and he was wonderful, anticipated our needs and was on top of everything. We started with Oysters Rockefeller and appetizer portion linguini with white clam sauce although for some it was enough to be a main course. We both had specials - filet mignon with chicken marsala and grilled baby lamb chops, shared a side of mashed potatoes. All dishes were very favorful and cooked perfectly. Meal was well timed, no rushing. Desserts were chocolate mousse and NY cheesecake - large slices. Music was enjoyable.“

I try different dishes every time but my staple is always the Paella Valenciana, sometimes with added lobster, sometimes not, depending on what else was ordered. “I was with some friends for a bit of a reunion. I honestly did not know what to expect from Haven but all I can say is that it is a wonderful, friendly and cozy place. The lite bites were all tasty, but the tap list, the whisky...and whiskey list were outstanding, but the cocktails...oh my! Everyone in our party thought the cocktails were truly outstanding, different, and creative. And priced fairly. I have paid more at several places for cocktails that were nowhere as good as at Haven. The owners are delightful and made us feel at home and next time I find myself in Port Chester, forget anywhere else...I know where I am going. Thanks Haven!“

“I got the perco frito, aka fried pork, the piece irregular sized. When I make it at home, I cut all chunks as even as possible it's all about presentation. Not what I got there it had a refrigerator taste, not pleasant. I was with a group of friends, and I didn't want to complain. So I more than left half. I was disappointed 😞. Everyone else enjoyed their food. I'm a foodie who expected more from the cuban restaurant.“
