“A very unique yet emotional experience in a pub. We didn’t know the history with the building until we got seated and talked with Mike(?), who I believe is the owner or manager at the least. He sat with us and explained the patches all over the walls, how pre-9/11 O’Hara’s was a common hangout for the firefighters from firehouse 10, showed us personal pictures, and how they rebuilt after the attacks. Probably one of my favorite places we’ve been after living here for a few months. Definitely worth the trip over if you’re going to the memorial and museum!“
“Went two weeks ago with some work friends, and it was a blast. The place was open until 4am, and the bartender had great knowledge. The atmosphere was inviting, engaging, and it was truly an experience. Coming from DC, i was expecting the prices to be expensive, but they’re some of the most reasonable cocktails i’ve ever had“
“Atmosphere was exactly what we needed for game night! the food was fire, the drinks were super affordable, great spirit selection. Service was the highlight of the night! Gabby was a super attentive and knowledgeable server. Will definitely come back just for her!“
“The place was very nice, the fish and chicken wings were very delicious, the drinks too, the place was quite hygienic but the tables were a little dirty, they serve you very well and they don't take long with the food, it only took about 4 minutes to deliver it to me , the truth is very good. ?“
“Did a solo trip in NYC this weekend. Stopped at the Empire State Building and just started walking in hopes of finding somewhere cool. Heard cheers and laughter coming from this place so I decided to come check it out: it was more than I was hoping for! The atmosphere was so fun, bartenders were BUSY but attentive to me, music playlist was fabulous & I loved scream singing with the crowd :) definitely check this spot out, I wish I lived in NYC cause that would be my spot without a doubt!!! :)“
“Recently hosted the BEST private party at Tampico! Joe was great to work with - super quick with responses and very helpful in getting me all the information I needed. The bartenders amazing and very friendly all throughout the night. Overall Tampico was very spacious and the perfect vibe. Would HIGHLY recommend for any size group to host your next event here!“
“I was extremely surprised at this venue.it is not one for fancy decor, however the food was excellent, and had many options, they also have a full bar, friendly service and excellent pricesFood Rating sign was an "A"It is a hidden gem on FreshPond Rd.,MASPETH.“
“I grew up in Astoria and have moved to FL unfortunately. since The Brewery opened, that's my number one spot to come back to Everytime I come up and visit my grandfather Gerd. If Patrick and staff read this ,they know my grandfather very well.you all are like family to him and have a great establishment and the ABSOLUTE BEST FOOD. Everyone I recommend to got here say the same thing.BEST SHEPHERD PIE AND WINGS IN THE WORLD.thank you Patrick for opening this amazing establishment and for being such a kind and friendly host to everyone who walks in.and Marissa is above and beyond as well. ❤️ “
“One of my favorites of all time! Staff is incredibly attentive, they have the best veggie burger in town and the overall amazing vibe. They are also dog friendly (you need to have service dog proof as with all places for inside dining) with a cozy atmosphere. Love!“
“Awesome spot to watch philly sports. We went for a birds game and it was packed, but we were still able to get seated and enjoy one of the many screens. Buffalo cauli bites were awesome, and came with a honey dipping sauce. A pitcher of their ale for 22 is a steal in NYC. My only knock on food is their cheesesteak could use more meat, but as someone from Philly, I thought the meat was well seasoned. If you can't get the real deal (aka be in Philly) Olde City is a very solid option“
“Best pint of Guinness in Brooklyn! The bartender Paddy (not the same one on the awning) is friendly and remembered my wife's order, she having only been there one other time before. The second Wednesday of every month is the Conradh na Gaeilge session, so if you've got some Irish or like trad tunes, or both, bígí linn (join us) for some good craic!“
“Sports bar located in Concourse Village in southwest Bronx, 300 meters from Yankee Stadium. It's a popular place to gather before New York Yankees home games, where fans can eat and drink before heading to the stadium or they can watch the game on the many screens. Its address is 836 River Avenue Bronx in New York.“
“Thank you for you hospitality. Server often checked on us without bothering. Food was simple but of high quality. Reasonable price. (I would only delete the old menu online… I came for the burger with green apple and it’s not available anymore)“
“I love Carmine's scillian pizzaI go there above all other pizza parlors to get my pizzaBut my most recent stop in to buy a scillian pizzaWasn't the normal scillian pizzait seems as if someone new is making themand it seems as if it moved away from the traditional recipe that day for some reasonIt used to be thin a light crunch great Italian sauce and the right amount of cheeseI Asked one of the guys behind the counter and he replied that they have a new guy preparing the pizzasI asked because all the pizzas in display case were burned at the edges and that turned me off right away because that is never the case when you look into the display case at Carmines delicious pizzeriaBut I ordered my scillian slices anywayOn that occasion onlyI found that it was not made in the traditional cooked to perfectionthat I know Carmine's pizza to be known forMaybe it was a fluke maybe the guy was out sickWhom prepared the pizzas or maybe the guy who makes the pizzas simply had an emergency and wasn't there that dayI don't knowBut I know once the owner gets the feedbackHe will clear up that matter ASAPas soon as he becomes aware of that matterBecause he serves everything to perfection at Carmine's pizzaI love Carmine's pizzeria, it's the best pizza ever !!!“
“Amazing, can't believe how helpful and friendly staff were. There was this guy, I think called Brendan (it was Tuesday at 10 pm) who went above and beyond to make it a great time. All around great experience. I went impulsively with a group of a few friends, and had drinks and played golf, all around great time, can't recommend enough. Will be coming back!“
“I love this place, and I am sure to visit pre or post Broadway show! The friendly, attentive and fast service at the bar and the awesome beer selection something I always look forward to here. And it is always this way the many times I've been here no matter what time or day of the week it is! The bar is tucked away where there is a good mix of locals and some tourists. There is a good, friendly, energy to this bar, not over the top energy, and it's not too quiet either. Menu is a broad selection and good for sharing too. Enjoy a beer here for sure!“
“Great spot for a chill night out of food and games! The drinks are so pretty and super fresh/tasty. They have a bunch of different options for food- the truffle fries and the rice bowls are SOOO GOOD!You can reserve games by the hour- they have pool, darts, claw machine, foosball, and a photo booth!Great happy hour deals!“
“We had a family dinner here last night. It’s a place you can go either informally or wearing “business attire.” The food is sort of an updated roadhouse style - for example, I had an artisan burger. I ordered a side of “tallow fries” (potatoes fried in tallow), unknowing that the burger comes with a side of fries. The tallow fries were very good, although the difference between them and regular fries is pretty subtle.I wasn’t happy with the fact that the entrees came at widely different times. This is a problem I encounter at most kosher establishments. (I don’t eat at non kosher restaurants, so I can’t compare.). There was a large selection of “starters.” The food servings were all giant-sized, and along with eating part of some of the starters there was no way I could finish my burger. They offer a few cocktails that seem to be their own inventions. I had a nice Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri, although I didn’t taste that much strawberry. Instead, I discovered some subtle flavors I didn’t recognize that made the combination very pleasant.None of us had room for dessert, but I wish I could have tried the one that included a Granny Smith apple.Be warned - the gratuity is included in the bill at 15%, a value I consider reasonable. We spent more per person because it was a special occasion. If I had only eaten the burger, the menu price would have been $20, not including the tip and taxes.“
“I attended the Prime Latino Media Award Ceremony for a nomination I won for best Pop Artist 2023 but aside from celebrating this wonderful night I found Judy Z's service, friendly ambiance and food was outstanding ? ?️Recording Artist - Edwin Vazquez “
“Nice Irish Pub! Great selection of beers.Good service, clean restaurant, and plenty of space to stretch out and bring a group.Big bar, high tops, low tables, standing room, plenty of options for everyone.Didn't have any food, so can't comment on that.“
“My favorite neighborhood wine bar in Kips Bay/Murray Hill. The staff are soooo friendly, service is quick and the decorations/ambiance of the inside is adorable. They have oyster/wine flight happy hour that is 100% worth it. The dry red wine flight (cote de Rhône especially) and the dozen oysters for under $35. Have been and will be back!!“
“This is the Lomo Saltado (top left) and the Super Bandeja Tipica (bottom center). My mom is Peruvian and was really impressed with how big and juicy the Lomo Saltado was for the price. The restaurant is extremely new and well kept. I'm very impressed and will be returning again.“
“Went to Skyline Billiards for a mini tournament. After the tournament was over I stayed to play with some of the local pool players. This room is awesome. The tables are in great condition. The air conditioner works great. Perhaps my favorite experience was the Smashburger I ordered. This was definitely the best cheeseburger I've ever tasted in my life. Jennifer Barretta was The Perfect Host. Love this place will definitely be back.Thank you Jennifer for a great night.“
“Good Vibe and Good People. Always positive energy while staying true to its personality over time. You get a true glimmer of local culture within the heart of 'true" South Brooklyn when you enter. That local sense of cool you can't describe in words.“
“We were able to have a pleasant time here with our pals. The service was great, the cold beverages were excellent, and the meals were satisfying. Fantastic venue for watching sports and hanging out in a relaxed atmosphere. Although, there were some rowdy people that I wish were dealt with quicker.“
“I hosted my birthday open bar here and it was an amazing experience!! Joe, the manager, was very accommodating and helpful when organizing the event. The open bar package was a great price for 3 hours with a semi private area and appetizers included. They even let me use my own playlist. The staff was so sweet on the day off, letting me control the volume and told me they just wanted me to have the best day. Highly recommend hosting at GST!!“
“My roommates and I keep finding ourselves coming back here because of how consistently great our experience is. This time I got the Steak Frites for the first time and it did not disappoint! Comes out on a steaming skillet similar to fajita style so bonus points for presentation! I also got the jerk chicken dry rub wings and they were such a unique flavor that I’ll definitely be getting again! We find them to be reasonably priced for what you are getting and they are big time Syracuse supporters!“
“This was my wife and I first visit to NYC. We decided to pick this place to watch the football game. Our bartender, James, was excellent. He made sure are food orders were well-prepared and our drinks were on point!!! Thanks James and TapHaus for a great ?? evening.“
“Excellent New Year's Eve party. There was no cover charge, the tables and place was nicely decorated and they even did a free champagne pour at midnight. Always a good time and it just felt like we were all a big family while bringing in the New Year! Also had ample TVs to watch the ball drop. If you're into sports, the TVs are great since they're not just near the bar but all over the place. Highly recommend.“
“It is a sports pub. No food, cash only and rugged. But I was a single woman that wanted to read my book, be on my phone and watch the hockey game. Not only did Kathy and Caesar allow me to do so, they were kind, conversational and lovely. It is what it advertises and I can't wait to Go back again. Apparently there is good pizza next door that they let you bring in, but the drinks are reasonable and the patrons are delightful. Cannot recommend highly enough if you want something laid back to watch the game.“
“First time in NYC celebrating 25th Anniversary. Stopped in for a quick beer and met a wonderful bartender. What a wonderful place, I’ve spent many years visiting Irish bars, this is a top choice. Will definitely find a way to get back before we leave. Owner showed up and spent some time talking with me and my wife. Highly recommend,“
“A wonderful place and ambience for relaxation and a good drop of a large selection of beer. The staff is warm and welcoming. I recommend this place for everyone, especially for fans of American football and fans of the Las Vegas Raiders. Every time I come to New York, I make sure to visit this place.“
“Had the absolute best time celebrating my birthday here thanks to Rudy, Aine, Brian and the rest of the 3 Sheets team. They made my party feel so welcome, and Rudy kept us in insanely high spirits all night. Can’t recommend this place or this team enough!!!! We’ll be back :)“
“I was first exposed to Glacken's in the 2000's by 2 friends of mine who are brothers and it was a tradition of theirs and their father's to "hit Glacken's" prior to Yankee games.I've realistically "hit Glacken's" about 15 times now, and make sure whoever I go to the Yankee game with experiences Glacken's prior to.Tom Glacken is a pleasure to chop it up with behind the bar and the crowd is cool too (even at 11am. LoL - 1:05 game)“
“Irish pub? It's a rare Sunday that I had to be on the east side. After doing some emergency in-person banking, I was looking for the nearest watering hole. A quick Google search led me here. The front section was packed at 2 PM with mostly soccer fans in jerseys for the Rwanda soccer team. However, some things were interesting surprises. A bartender taking off his shirt at the request of men. Gloria Gaynor, George Michael and ABBA's Dancing Queen being played and beingsung aling too. Was this a gay bar? These are all things a gay man like myself appreciate. Bartenders were professional and pleasant. Drinks were good.“
“Was looking forward to checking this place out and went yesterday before the Ranger game. The atmosphere is great and my GF commented how pleasant the ladies room was. Our bartender/server was very nice and attentive although I think she might have been new since it took her a little bit of time to enter our food order (no worries at all). I will say I did find the food a little disappointing. I got the spicy chicken sandwich and honestly it was not spicy at all and just very plain. My GF thought the same about her grilled chicken sandwich. Nothing special. I would be happy to try the wings and other apps next time I go and there will be a next time for sure.“
“Update: ive had 1000 vodka pizzas and penne a la karens since my last review - still delicious. Tried the chicken marsala - YUM. Picture doesn't do it justice imo. I also tried the lasagna and I didn't love it I thought it just needed something more. Overall still obsessed with this place!!!“
“I absolutely love it here. The staff are very friendly. The food is exceptional and the range of drinks available is awesome. I'm sad that I'll be heading back home to Australia. If Iived in New York this would definitely be my local drinking establishment. I can't recommend it highly “
“I went here for my sister birthday, it was actually very nice the food was good and prompt, the service was good. And they were playing some really good music. There was a DJ and a MC and it was kinda fun. They gave my sister a birthday shot out and free “
“I absolutely loved this place. I was in town for a death in my family witch had me a bit in my feeling and really deep in the bottle. The owners were the sweetest walking and waiting with me for my cab. I would definitely recommend this place to all of the ladies who like to get out alone at times. Because the men in this establishment are top knot gentlemen. Thanks you guys again!“
“Bodega 88 never disappoints. With Latin-inspired dishes and delicious drinks, we love the sangria, you'll always leave full, happy, and a little buzzed!I absolutely love their nachos, too.Arguably the most unique part about Bodega 88 is their 5-6 booth seating options that have their own small TV!If you can snag one of these spots, you can be sure you'll be able to watch whatever sporting event you want.If you can get here during happy hour that's best, as their drink prices are a little higher than is preferable.“
“This place is my jam. Not only is it the coolest Bills bar in the city, but it has the best owners and employees. Mike & Diana have been so kind, generous and amazing to get to know. As well as Sam! What a gem of a human. I love coming into the bar for bills games of course! Go bills! But also to just hang around for a wonderful neighborhood atmosphere. Their hot dogs are wonderful & their beer list is unmatched. Go check them out if you’re in the area :)“
“Hosted my company holiday party here. Emblem is adorable neighborhood bar, warm cozy and friendly stafff! The service was great, space was welcoming and charming, music was great and tons of tv’s as well for sports lovers! Will definitely be “
“Great Pub!! we came across him the first evening of our stay because he was next to our host and.. wow!!! The atmosphere is great, the people lovely, a delicious choice of beer and the evening waiter is a real sweetheart ?? The last evening we ate there and it was delicious!!! the extra good fish and chips ??“
“I did not try their food, but their variety in drinks is great and the vibe is the best part. Soooo many games to choose from. I spent two nights in a row there for 5 hours straight playing games and having a good time! Shout out to the amazing bartenders ?“
“Best bar in New York! Good crowd and the absolute best staff. Mama Donna definitely makes this place feel like a home, than just your average bar. Great bartenders with a wide selection, always hosting fun events, and they show every major sporting event! I love this place and I hope it’s around forever!“
“Use to go there a long time ago when we had Sidetracks on the other side ! Great Drinks and memories Indeed ! Highly recommended ! Wow. What great memories ! Looking forward to coming back and getting my drinks on here in the future ! Maybe tonight! Who knows ! Lol.“
“Came here for the first time a few days ago to watch a football game. It's very small, but cozy. There are plenty of TVs if you're looking to watch a game. Their beer list is pretty impressive for its size and the food we had (nachos and wings), was very good. The only waiter/bartender we interacted with was beyond friendly. I'd go here again, either to watch sports or just to have some quality beer.“
“Staff is great! Been attended by Keith, Saul and Erinn the times I have been there and they are amazing. Always kind and even when busy they are fast and you never have to wait forever for your food or drinks. They are very professional A+ as for the Food it was pretty good give it a 8/10. Place is pretty big with massive TVs! Highly recommend ??“
“I didn't rate food because I went to a 60th birthday party at this venue food was catered by they family. Bathrooms were accessible the place was clean and the staff was great. My teammate loved his 60th birthday at this venue and he lives in the neighborhood so it was a plus!“
