“Doing take out this Lenten Friday, we ordered 2 fish fries. One haddock one pike. Fish was spectacular best in a year. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant and the scoop of slaw was tiny compared to other sides. On a busy Friday night we had to wait an extra 40 minutes beyond what they quoted on the phone. Be patient with these guys.

Vegetarian options: Super small but you eat with the locals. Not handicapped accessible.

“I called the week before arriving to inquire about a large group seating, the hostess took my name, number and size of party. She asked me to call the day before to confirm, which I did. We arrived earlier than expected and had to wait a little bit so current diners could finish up and give the staff time to setup for the 38 of us. I was very pleased with how friendly and accommodating the staff was for the size of our group. A group of 38 adults and youth hockey players from is a lot to handle. Not one complaint from our large group. I would definitely recommend and will, happily, return when in the area again.“

“We visited Turtle Jacks while on vacation. The food was excellent, but two servers that were in the place were not nice and did not want to serve us. Until Jen who was amazing. We sat there for 30 minutes and the two servers kept walking pass us like we didn't exist. At that point my husband and I were getting ready to walk out until Jen came over, she apologized for the delay and service. She gave us the BEST service ever. She went above and beyond ! When I inquired what they have had previously their response was "there isn't anything on the menu that we would not like". I also had the Gypsy Juice as my beverage, along with some Pastelitos (beef) shared for the table. Those were just OK to me and I've had better elsewhere. “We move to this area a few months ago and drove by the country cottage many times and we finally decided to try the breakfast. It was outstanding! The wait time was very short even when it was busy.
