“The new bartender Tom was amazing! It was my first time here in forever and I’m glad I stopped by. He was ON TOP OF EVERYTHING. I never had to wait for a drink despite a busy bar. He recommended places in the area for me to try and was so friendly the whole time. When I closed out, I asked him how long he’s been bartending… I was shocked to find out that he’s new to it. I will personally definitely come back here because of him.“

“I had the most fantastic dinner & cocktails at Swallow Kitchen Greenlawn this past Saturday w/ friends from out of town! First off, The Server was kind and took great care of us! The food was terrific, and the Cocktails were to die for! 🤩🥳😍 Mushroom toast with/ Marscarpone was AMAZING, Steak AMAZING, Mussels-The broth was So good! Tuna Tartare- the Lemon Aioli I'm still dreaming about, Grilled Octopus- grilled to perfection, Street corn- tarragon flavor really came out. My Husband Loved the Chicken Tostadas. We had no room left - but I want to return for the Nom Nom Noodles and everything else!!“

Bathrooms are clean and easily accessible, prices are very budget friendly, staff is accomodating and friendly, easy parking, classic games / pool table, light snacks, they have no/low alcohol options (beverages) ... a great place to meetup with a grouo of people. Diagonally across the street from the Paramount Theater on NY AVE. Overall, this cute little 'mom & pop owned' place is very well done. (thumbs up)“

I can’t speak for the drinks, the service, or the music—because the second I stepped into the bathroom, I knew I’d found my sanctuary.
We’re talking immaculate tile work. The kind of lighting that makes you reconsider your entire skincare routine. Soap that smelled like a lavender field kissed by angels. A full-length mirror. A working lock. Paper towels and a Dyson hand dryer. Someone even folded the toilet paper like a hotel.
I went in to pee. I came out reborn.
If you’re in the neighborhood and nature calls—skip your own house and just go here. Truly Detroit’s best kept secret.“

“The best local bar in town! Bartender is a sweetheart. Best spot in town for pool and darts. DJ starts at 11:30 and dance floor gets going. If your into a bar without a cover and line in a town that most bars have both.. definitely go to JTs“
