“It’s a really good coffee shop, at first some of the new employees didn’t know how to make certain drinks but over time they learned and mastered it. It’s not as boujie as Starbucks but it’s cheaper than getting a venti for $7 when you can get a large for $4-5. I recommend the Matcha Latte, Vanilla Bean Coolatta, and Chai Latte if you’re looking for something new and refreshing for a hot day during the summer.“
“Great coffee shop! Nicely plant themed and the service is good. The coffee was solid as well, a 7.6 flat white. The best part of it was being able to take a coffee 5 mins walk to the nearby Ithaca Falls and enjoy a coffee by the waterfall - perfect!“
“We always enjoy ourselves here. The food and beer selection is wide, so there's a bit of something for everyone. I'm doing dry February, and they had a terrific NA beer from Athletic! My vegetarian friend enjoyed the cauliflower wings. We accommodated a group of 10 on the fly (had unexpected extras), and the staff was ok with us putting tables together. Another nice table of guests even agreed to switch tables with our large group. It just shows that the people here, both patrons and employees, are into the friendly vibe.“
“Really cool spot. Visiting from Nyack, Ny and it's my first time learning about Kava and having the full experience. I don't know how I haven't heard about this before! I felt super relaxed and I loved how people could just come together, and share the moment. Had great conversation, and no judging eyes. Do not leave Ithaca without coming here at least once!“
“So good! The people who work here are exceptionally kind and the food they make is delicious. We always get a Reuben and tiramisu or coffee cake (which is cinnamony and walnuty). You can sit outside on a nice day and they will bring you your order. I’m so lucky I live down the street!“
“It’s a cat place first, food place second and coffee place third. It’s a one-size fits all, themed cafe so I couldn’t expect too much from the coffee on offer. It was slightly better than I thought. I got a 7.4/10 cortado and although it was okay, there was no flavour or milkwork to be seen. Come for the cats and not the coffee.“
“Their espresso is the best that I have had in Ithaca, and is the best espresso I've had outside NYC. It has sweetness and fullness, with a very mild tang of acidity. They make sure to give you an actual espresso cup and not a paper monstrosity. I would recommend this place very highly. I think most people treat coffee like a liquid dessert. They pump their full of artificial flavors and sugar, and then wonder why they felt terrible after drinking it. Coffee is an experience. You should enjoy just the espresso, with no additional fluff. Press Café makes it easy to do that. The only criticism I have, and this is truly looking for one, is that I wish they were open longer. If they were open earlier I would give them a lot more business- perhaps every day. If they were open later I would do the same.“
“Visited Ithaca for a few days this past weekend and loved the space here. Had the Sweet Potato Hash, with an extra scrambled egg on top and it came out amazing. I also had the two egg scramble, and that was awesome too. There wasn't much wait time, though you do have to order up at the register and bus yourself. When my brother and I came early afternoon on Saturday, we missed a rush of students coming in for their food. Great place to talk to come cool locals/students while chomping on some great food. The Barista who was there (a college aged young lady) was on top of her game with the caffeinated drinks. Order your drinks separately, and enjoy!!Great place and highly recommend. Seating is limited, but we were always able to find a spot.Kid-friendliness: Quaint atmosphere which Kids, (and adults) will enjoy!!Parking: The lot is shared with what I assumed was student housing. Not lots of street parking in Ithaca, but we drove into a spot on the side. Also some room in the far back.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to enter the establishment.“
“Great place for a to-go drink. Their matcha latte is great—many places have sub-par matcha so this is exciting! Very little indoor seating, but lots of outdoor seating for warm weather. I have taken a friend here and then walked to Ithaca Falls many a time.“
“This coffee shop is a great addition to Green Star. The hot chocolate is awesome, I wanted another one by the time I was done shopping! Like other reviewers mentioned, the owner is personable and professional. Highly recommend giving it a try, and it's worth a special trip even if you don't shop at GS.“
“I love coming here- I love right up the road and work just about a half mile away at the elementary school. It’s a shame they don’t open early enough for me to go before work, because I would! Not only do they open late, but they close early- 3:30! I haven’t left work at that point unfortunately, so I can only go on the weekends.“
“Great coffee & excellent atmosphere. Friendly, knowledgeable and skilled staff of baristas! As good a cuppa as I've ever had anywhere has made Gimme! A daily habit.Parking: Usually a spot out front or in the lot across the not too busy street.“

“Given it's a chain, KFT has consistently good flavors (especially for those with a sweet tooth). This location recently reorganized their layout so there is more seating space, but during peak times can feel quite crowded. Mobile orders are very convenient and orders are generally made quite quickly unless it is during peak hours.“
“This coffee shop ENCOURAGES customers to be more environmentally responsible by giving people discount when they bring their own mugs! So far, this is a very rare and precious practice in Ithaca, and I highly recommend people to go buy coffee at Gimme to support this practice (and its coffee is great ?“
“Stopped in for lunch with my friend and we each got a Latte and a melt they had. Service was amazing, unfortunately I can't remember the servers name, but the lattes were delicious. Even though the barista was very busy, the food got there pretty quickly for being the only employee there at the time, and both the Southwest Melt and the Caprese melt were very appetizing. Would absolutely stop in to get lunch or breakfast for there or to go.“
“The banana split was HUGE! A dream place for anyone who really loves sweets like me. The picture doesn’t do it justice because it’s a bit melted (my bad), but it was the best split I’ve had. I added gummy bears to it too and it gave it a nice contrast. The only thing I will say though is the wait was long, but I understand there was just one person working there. Besides that, I wish this place was by where I live!“
“The food was tasty I will say that, but I went in and got a single sandwich which was $20 after tax and a couple dollar tip, which I think is just kind of expensive for a not sit down type of restaurant. Also maybe other people don’t have this problem but it was too dark in there, I had to go over by the window to find my wallet in my purse to pay, especially since there wasn’t any place to put my stuff down at the register. The staff was pretty friendly, gave me good recommendations after I asked about what to get.“
“I can understand how this type of quirky place would be the center of a college town — lots of funky options, a cool building, etc. But bagels do take an eternity to come out, the cashiers are surly, and honestly the bagels just aren’t that good. I mean, look, I’m a New Yorker. I’m going to be hard to please on bagels. But the lox was bland, the bagels were inconsistent in size and flavor, and they were a bit stale. So not bad — I mean, it was the best option around by far. But not an amazing bagel.“
“OMG I loved this place the tea was delicious and the atmosphere was awesome. I ordered coconut mango milk without jelly and with boba. It was awesome. The milk coconut and mango all were there withoit being too sweet nor too sour. Also there was a great little sitting area and it was fun to be there. Us the cup was solid and I was able to go home and wash it to reuse it as my one cup. ??“
“Extremely small space that pumps out A LOT of different (and fairly time consuming to prep!) dishes! Was thrilled with the acai bowl and oatmeal bowl. Liked the Detox juice "OK". Looks like order ahead is the way to go as the line was several people deep and there is no room to stand in the store while you wait. Definitely a place to pick up a quality bowl/smoothie, but not necessarily to sit and eat!“
“Warm and cozy atmosphere. Friendly, fast service. Got the spicy breakfast sandwich with their homemade jalapeno cheddar bread and a gingerbread coffee everything was amazing. Got some back goods to go so far deliciousKid-friendliness: Friendly staff“
