“We are full-time wedding photographers who did not have the pleasure of working at the Glen Island Harbour Club until January 2025. Winter weddings can be tough if you are not at an iconic location with extensive interiors conducive to photography meant to maximize the natural and ambient light, but in this case, it was perfect! The bridal suite was stupendous and the guys had a perfect place to get ready, too. All the areas had a lot of daylight considering it was the darkest time of the year and were elegantly furnished. The spaces all complimented the chosen scarlet red and classic tux look. We went outdoors for a bit despite the cold and windy day and loved the views of the water. Everywhere we went the staff was perfect for our couple, their family and friends, and us as vendors. We had scouted the venue beforehand, but we did not realize just how much room we’d have to work with - especially getting ready, taking spectacular shots on the staircase and in the lobby, during the ceremony even with so many guests, and for the reception with a huge dance floor. The food during cocktail hour was absolutely amazing with seemingly limitless options for everyone. The venue staff made sure we had a nice meal as well while checking in on the little things we love such as ensuring we’re set for the entrances and knew the itinerary for the reception. And again, this was our impression during the most difficult time of the year! I cannot imagine how extraordinary the property is during warm seasons, but we hope to find out soon. While this is written from the perspective of a small business owner, this is an unbiased and unsponsored review, and we appreciated the sensational first visit with hopefully many more to come. “Chef Jaime catered an outdoor party I hosted this week and she did a fabulous job. Everything from the presentation of the food to the food itself ( delectable) to the passing of wine and dessert to the clean up ( she left my kitchen spotless) was exceptional. My guests could not stop raving about the food for the entire afternoon (and for days afterwards!). She was also very intuitive about what was needed in the moment. And she and her assistant worked completely independently so I was able to enjoy my party. I recommend her most highly.“

“This is a lovely venue that's been newly renovated in 2025.
I had my mother's retirement party in April 2024 and my husband's 60th party October 2025. The food was good and Boston, the maître d', is awesome. I would recommend this venue & certainly host future events there again. Eastwood is a gem in a local community. Thank you Eastwood Manor!“

“You guys did it again! I needed a lot of food for a welcome back teachers event and with only two days notice you guys delivered!!! Literally…food was delicious and delivered on time. The salads (macaroni, potato, Cole slaw) that came along with the order were on point! For reference we had the Marco Polo, siciliano, pork sliders, and the mini sandwiches ( one full tray of vegetarian) EVERYONE came over to us to say how delicious everything was. The rasta pasta with salmon...mmmm good! The cow foot soup, goat head soup, out and bad. I recommend without hesitation... breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fresh good food for those of us who are challenged with high blood pressure....not salty at all!“

We were impressed by the pre-event coordination and care shared to ensure a good plan. Renee's hired staff was professional and made our guests comfortable with their food and beverage services. Renee & staff competently served passed appetizers and a fully tailored hot meal. The dinner was outstanding and really enjoyed by all. One guest, 75 years of age, said MadeByRK was the best meal ever served at a wedding. Our meal was atypical compared to what many weddings serve, Renne's care made our reception truly feel like an intimate family dinner party. My wife and I will hire Renee again in the years to come. “This location i have come to a few times. It has progressively become better and better.
The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and quite, while there is a great social bar, with very nice accomodationimg staff and the downtown has become much better than it use to be that this hotel is right within.

Only downside I've experienced is the up charge fee for late checkout. Normally around the world a late checkout there is not a secondary charge of you request up till 1-2pm. Unfortunately this hotel is going with the US trend of charging consumers for needing a later checkout even if you checking at 11pm bc of late travel etc.. Only down on have to say, but hotel it top notch“

“Dropped by during our long bike ride to grab some burritos. We did not see them on the online menu but we called in advance to order for pickup and asked if they had them, they said yes of course. They were very nice to us and it was nice on such a rainy day to grab some delicious warm food and sit down inside to warm up. The tortillas they made the burritos from were nice and flaky, there was a good amount of steak in our steak burritos and they were served with a generous amount of rice and beans (also delicious). The sauces were all on point as well. The staff was very nice.“

“The staff was professional, on time and really take time to make sure that the food was set up how I wanted it to be. my guests loved the food and couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. The only negative was the the mini burgers were undercooked, causing someone to get sick. So next time, I would stress that the mini burgers should be fully cooked. Other than that, no complaints!“

“I've driven by this place a billion times and never once gave it a second thought. I'm also not a food truck kinda guy but wow did I just find a new spot to frequent.

Prices are so reasonable considering today's absurdity and the food is great. I had the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches, both tasted great. My foodie fiance loved it as well and she's a tough crowd.

If you skipped this place before, turn back and give it a shot. The guy who helped me was very polite, which is rare to see good in person customer service these days. Trust me, this joint should have way more than 30 reviews.“
