“Found this restaurant by accident on Friday and we love it! In fact, we went back Saturday for Churros and Sunday for dinner again. On Friday we had their Street Tacos and today we had their Tako Bowls! This may be a small place, but their flavors are not!! Amazing food and great portions! The entire staff from front and back of house are very friendly. So glad we found them and looking forward to going back! We HIGHLY recommend them!“

I found this restaurant through a TikTok video that mentioned they serve barbacoa de chivo (tender goat meat) on weekends—so I decided to take my dad here for Father’s Day. We ordered the birria tacos with handmade tortillas, and let me tell you… those tortillas are a 10/10—absolutely worth it!

My dad got the ribeye, and he gave it a solid 10/10 as well. Of course, we came for the barbacoa, and it did not disappoint. Words can’t describe how good it was tender, flavorful, and unforgettable.

The drinks were also amazing. My mom loved the tamarind, and I personally went for the Jamaica. Both perfectly refreshing and just the right amount of sweetness to complement the food.

To top it all off, we had the homemade flan and churros absolutely delicious.

But what really made the experience even better was the outstanding service. Shoutout to Alex and Paulina for taking the time to explain the menu and make sure everything was perfect from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Their hospitality was top-tier.

Doesn’t hurt it also offers a beautiful beach front view of Long Island sound.The cocktails are prepared well, appetizers fresh and if I must say, the carne asada is mind blowing good.I’ve been coming here for few years now and the friendly atmosphere makes it all worth while.It’s a bit out of the way, but trust me, they’re worth the trip.“

The order was double checked on the phone but when we received the order we had one different item. Called and spoke with someone who said “that’s what you ordered”. Then spoke with the person who took my order the first time and she said we must’ve gotten the wrong item by mistake that she would fix it and we’d get it asap. “I've been to Taqueria Lupita several times. I would definitely go more often if I lived in the neighborhood!! Such a gem! The prices are great value for your money.
