“Well where can I start, stopped by to get something to eat after taking an exam near the location. First off the atmosphere is nice with traditional tables and chairs expected, nice Spanish music playing in the background while one enjoys their meal, a wide variety of Juices and a good selection of foods to try personally the ribs were amazing and the fried chicken even though a bit cold was delicious. The place is chill, came to to eat with my father and the pricing wasn't that bad for two huge plates of food, around $50+.

“I come all the way, from Valley Stream,NY or Kew Gardens, NY - just to eat at El Rancho Catracho. Call me, “predictable”, but every time I come here, I enjoy the white rice and chicken breast, with refried beans. The beans, are so yummy, and the chicken tender and soft. The establishment, serves a Caesar salad with every meal as apart of the entree accompaniment. I always, also get a glass of red sangria, which is always mixed expertly. The dessert is also prepared well, and there is a a nice presentation that is affixed to the serving of the treat after a meal here. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice, and the music is always pumping. I recommend this restaurant to anyone, interested in trying Honduran fare!”

Every TV had futbol which is okay with me I was the only person in there that could speak English it gave me a chance to freshen up on my Spanish speaking skills. “La Fonda Deli is amazing! The food tastes authentic and is made with fresh ingredients which really makes a difference. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect to enjoy with family or friends. I tried the pupusas and the stewed chicken, and both were delicious! Also, the staff was very friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Definitely a place I will be returning to soon. The second time I was at this location I was charged twice maybe the person who took my payment was unexpirienced with the payment machine. “I’ve been getting my deli meat exclusively here since Covid. They’re great. I can even call in the order in advance and it’s sliced and ready when I get there. Egg sandwiches are also great. We get them a lot when we’re going hiking because they’re big and filling. Recently we tried the chicken cutlet subs and the Buffalo chicken wrap. Holy crap! Out of this world. Each sub literally had 4 chicken cutlets.”

( Sorry I can't remember her name, but her son name is Fernando and sometimes he helps out) Food is delicious. Love their roasted chicken and love how they allow me to customize my scrambled eggs every morning. Rather if I want broccoli 🥦 added, chopped chicken cutlet in it or chopped steak and onions in it this woman I'm speaking of never complains. I also noticed whenever they handle the money, they always wash their hands before they prepare your food. Has a variety of drinks. Place is clean and very reasonable. All these reasons is why I come here everyday. I believe they also own the butcher/ fruit stand nextdoor and I love that place too. I get my fresh juices and smoothies there. Roxanna is one of the workers there and she's just a Joy. Whatever shake/ juice idea I have. She makes it. No problem. These two places are gems and I go nowhere else. Glad they're close to where I work. Hope they never leave or never go out of business. They're great to the Hempstead community. I definitely recommend this place and the fruit stand/butcher place nextdoor.”

I came here late at night with my boys and u walked in and i felt at home, at peace.
