“We are a family of four, including two seven-year-olds, and everyone enjoyed the meal. Our favorites were the potato salad and chicken. We also loved the oysters and even ordered another round. The drinks were good, and the sundae was a perfect way to finish the meal. I would skip the scallops dish next time though, as it was too salty and the flavor was overpowering for my family and me. I also wished we had been given a better table because we were seated near the entrance, even though there seemed to be other available tables. Perhaps it was because we made the reservation at the last minute? I'm not sure. Regardless, the meal was quite satisfying.”

We stayed at the B&B and they kindly delivered our entire order to our room in the carriage house. The breakfast will definitely keep you full for a long time if you're headed to the slopes!”

Everything here is homemade and my favorite is the French bread there is no French bread around here like this and I dare say I couldn't find it in a 30-mile radius except here. Everything was very nice - interior was unique and pleasant, food was delicious (ordered roast beef sandwich, waffle with fruits, mint latte and chai latte) and service was very attentive! Will come back again!”

“My sister and I had dinner at Prominence a couple of days ago. What an enjoyable meal! The food was wonderful, with generous portions. I had the swordfish special and the fish was very fresh! The Burrata Mozzerella appetizer was delicious, as were the rice balls. My sister had an appetizer special (fried pork belly) and linguini with a variety of seafood in the sauce- also delicious! The service was great- our waitress was Lydia- very prompt and there when you needed her without hanging over us. We would highly recommend Prominence!”

“This French bakery hidden in the heart of Windham NY. The pastries are delicious. We make sure gave we go to the bakery every year when we come up for our family trip. This year we tasted an assortment of cakes, his quiche, donuts and his gluten free cake. You have to try it when you visit Windham mountain.”

“My girlfriend & I went for Breakfast-Lunch on Saturday. The staff were very friendly & helpful. My Gf ordered the Monte Cristo French Toast. She said it was the best French Toast she ever had. I ordered an omelette with 3 eggs, Avocado, Roast Beef, American. & Cheddar Cheese. My omelet was unbelievable. The waiter we had Adam was very attentive. I’d highly recommend this place to eat”

“Dont let the name mislead you. They do serve diner food but it is, imo, the best diner food I have ever had. I prepare my own meals. I dont like to go to restaurants because most dont prepare food I am satisfied with, taste or freshnessof ingredients. This place sets the bar higher for the other local restaurants. The food is very good, and Ive tried almost everything. The prices are reasonable. This is my favorite place to eat beside my own cooking. The owners, the staff all very nice people. Makes me feel like Im visiting family not a diner”

“I googled restaurants offering take out in this area while visiting a friend in Haines Falls. The roasted chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and multi color carrots were all cooked perfectly with great attention paid to the quality of the food and its presentation. The apple crisp dessert was an amazing treat, too. It was well worth the upscale casual pricing. Very friendly staff inside the establishment. I hope to come back sometime for a sit down meal in the restaurant when I return to the area. Thank you, Jessie’s!”

“I don't know if it's the time of year we visited the Hunter Mountain area (the week after Easter), but many restaurants were shut down, and we found that there are very few places to eat in the area that offer a diversified menu.

We had a nice lunch at Hunter Mountain Brewery. Our server was extremely friendly, and the food was decent.

One thing that we questioned was the restaurant's pet policy. When we arrived, someone was seated at the indoor bar with his dog. Yet, we were told that pets are only allowed on the outside deck. So, the policy was not being upheld, or perhaps it was one of the owners taking advantage of his status.”
