“A friend of mine and I had a lovely experience at Laffa Bar and Grill. The outside tent was spacious, the food is plentiful and delicious! I also like the changes they made indoors. It has a very nice ambiance. The Owners are warm and welcoming as well as each of the staff. Service with a smile..how refreshing! The Owners told us they deliver to our town in West Hempstead and cater! Looking forward to going back soon! Keep up the good work everyone!“

“Family owned and delicious Mediterranean food. Friendly service.“

“The food at Abu Zayn was delicious! Everything was fresh, tasty, and full of flavor. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Great authentic Egyptian food and definitely a place I’d recommend. I’ll be coming back!“

“We had a fiftieth birthday party here for two twin brothers. The patio out back is beautiful. The food was great and the waitstaff is wonderful. This is practically its own institution in Floral Park.“

“I’ve been to Turkey many times… I have eaten Lahmacunu there many times… eating yours brought me back to Turkey!!!! ÇOK LEZZETLİ ❗️“

“Honestly, the food here is great. My go to is Honey Chipotle Chicken. Every bite is enjoyable, the portion sizes are large (and cost effective) and the staff are all great to their customers. The small talk doesn't feel forced either.

There's no eating in anymore but honestly it's good that way and I'm all for the business interests so they can keep things running smoothly and I can keep coming back for years to come.“

“Love this place!! The employees are always so friendly and helpful! The food is EXCELLENT as always, and I'm obsessed with the Buffin muffins ($~6) and overnight oats ($~9), although the latter are a bit too pricey. My favs are the Welcome to the Sno buffin (which tastes like those viral pink squishy chocolate snowball pastries and are good even when frozen, also has a cream filling) and the Fitella overnight oats (very filling). Cash register has some excellent protein bar recommendations next to it, I always grab one. The meals are always good no matter what I get, and they are priced around $11-12. My favorite is the Soho Steakbowl, which comes with marinated steak strips and sweet potato fries, and is $12. I miss the Egg White Muffins, they need to bring them back!!! Same with the Tres Leches buffin!! Whenever I come here I grab 10 meals for a discount, and they last me a work week.“

“I had the chicken and lamb platter, and my friends had the chicken sandwich, Mac & cheese, and gyro wrap. We all left very happy. The platter was delicious, and everything was super fresh. Inside was also very clean, and the people friendly. I look forward to coming back!! Also, very fair pricing in today’s economy 🙂“

“Good food 🍱 great staff. Healthy food options. Great location.“

“the best“

“Very nice team here, good vibes and multiple different kinds of vegetarian/vegan options. We had lunch at almost 2:30pm and the food was fresh. There were probably 5-10 people eating, this is clearly a popular spot.

updating my review because I posted before I had actually tried the food. It's really good. I got the chicken gyro pita and my wife got the vegan Impossible burger. My gyro tasted really good and healthy. Not overly oily and had the right amount of salt.

I didn't take any photos because I ate it too quickly!“

“I recently had the immense pleasure of dining at Tubool and I can honestly say that it was an unforgettable culinary experience that left me absolutely dazzled. The menu was a masterpiece in itself, offering a diverse range of dishes that catered to every palate. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted with a blend of flavors and textures that showcased the culinary expertise of the chefs. The presentation was a work of art, with every plate resembling a canvas that had been painted with exquisite precision. The service was impeccable, with the staff exhibiting a genuine passion for their craft.“

“The food is good, the service is good, and I've always enjoyed eating here. However, I note that many, if not most, of the food items are no longer available which leads me to suspect the place is slowly closing down, probably due to lack of customers.“

“This is an amazing Family Owned Deli. The food here is beyond compare and prepared fresh. Ask for the Off Menu Items! They are hidden Gems!“

“Outstanding Shawarmas!!!!“

“First visit 7/16/25. Beautiful interior. Friendly attentive staff. The food was delicious! Will go again- hopefully soon!“

“The Angry Bird Burger completely lives up to its name—in the best way possible. From the first bite, you get hit with a perfect balance of heat, flavor, and juiciness. The chicken is crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. The sauce brings just the right level of spice without overpowering everything else, and the toppings add a fresh, satisfying crunch.

The bun holds everything together without getting soggy, which is underrated but crucial. Every component feels intentional, and you can tell there’s real attention to quality. If you’re into bold, spicy flavors with a serious kick, this burger is a must-try. Easily one of the best spicy chicken sandwiches I’ve had.

Would 100% order again.“

“The best Greek food ever!!! Beautiful decor and friendly staff. Love💕“

“I stopped by Canz for just one drink and ended up having the best time! Angela, the bartender, was absolutely beautiful, charming, and so funny—truly the best bartender.
I’m so glad I didn’t drive because the drinks were that delicious… I couldn’t stop at one! I haven’t had that much fun in a long time.
If that young lady is bartending, I will definitely be back!“

“The best lobster pasta ever.... Αστακομακαροναδα γiαμy“

“Delicious Food, Fresh Flavors, Friendly & Fast service. These were the highlights of my visit. Yesterday, late at night we were looking for options for dinner and wanted a break from regular bowl meals we takeout. I had seen this place many a times while passing by and read reviews on google. I don’t know why I took so long to visit it. I absolutely loved the flavors, took a Zeus bowl and chicken skewers. It was nicely seasoned and most importantly cooked well. Owners are friendly. I would say it’s easy to miss this place, but do not miss it. Give it a try. ‘Cause I will be going again for some gyros 😊“

“Good food and service. Great gyros.“

“Very nice place! The kebab was absolutely delicious, and the hospitality was outstanding. Our waiter, Peter, was a true gentleman with excellent manners and made the entire experience even better. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, he was a great guy took time to shake my hand and had a great convo with him.

I’m Iranian, so I know good kebab when I taste it, and this was easily a 10/10. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Food is always fresh at any time of the day“

“Greek Cove Merrick’s lunch special is incredible. Ate the warm pita in the car on the way home! Grilled chicken with a salad and rice. One huge chicken cutlet over a generous portion of delicious rice and a tasty Greek salad- with a grape leaf and feta! I am a very picky eater but this chix was seasoned beautifully, so that if garlic, onion or rosemary(my triple threat) was used, it all blended together perfectly so that even I could not pick out the offensive spice. Amazingly, the yogurt sauce is also tasty( I hate yogurt sauce;usually throw it away). Forgot to tell them not to give it to me, so as not to waste it, but I’m glad I forgot! All of this, and a lot of smiling happy employees, for $12.99 cash. Wowza.“

“Checked out Halal Muchies after so many people told me about it and they did not disappoint!!! Cooked perfectly, super tasty and great portions! I hope this place is around for a very long time!“

“Authentic Flavors and Warm Hospitality!
I had an incredible experience at Plateia GR! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that immediately set the tone for the evening.
The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted fresh and authentically Greek. The grilled octopus was tender and perfectly seasoned, the meatballs were so moist and so good, and the gyro was delicious and full of flavor. The tzatziki and warm pita were the best I’ve ever had, and the galaktobouriko at the end of the meal was the perfect sweet finish.
What really stood out was the staff’s genuine hospitality — they took the time to explain the dishes and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.
If you’re looking for a place that serves real Greek cuisine with heart and care, this is it. I can’t wait to come back!“

“EXCELENTE ATENCIÓN, MUY AMABLES , DELICIOSA COMIDA 🤗KOSHER LO MEJOR .“

“Had gyro from here a few times. Im a guy who is very difficult to impress, but this gyro was different. The food is really good quality and made fresh. The workers have good morals and respect for the customers. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a gyro addiction. 10/10“

“Ever since I found this place, its the ONLY place around work I’ll go to for lunch. I once had something pop up immediately after picking up my greek salad there, and only had a chance to eat 7 hours later, after it had turned into a soggy mess. You know what: IT STILL BANGED! Deeply loyal, 10/10, two thumbs up, enthusiastically recommend“

“Great beer choice“

“My husband, and I, ordered food, for delivery.
We purchased the small garden salad, with its generous portions of feta cheese, Romaine/ iceberg lettuce, and sliced tomatoes. We chose the protein add-ons, of fresh, grilled salmon, and, falafel.
All, were very satisfying.
We also had rice pilaf, as well as hummus, and tzatziki dips.
We liked the rice, and dips, which complemented the warm, wheat pitas.

We will continue to patronize this establishment, for its appetizing food.“

“Wild Fig in New Hyde Park is a wonderful spot with great service and a welcoming atmosphere. Lily handled our transaction and truly made the experience exceptional. She was incredibly pleasant, professional, and attentive from start to finish. Lily greeted us with a warm smile, was patient, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Her positive energy and genuine hospitality made us feel like valued guests, not just customers. It’s rare to come across service this thoughtful and consistent. Because of Lily, we’ll definitely be returning and recommending Wild Fig to others. Excellent experience overall!“
