“The food is filling and the place though a little small has a lot of character. I pass this place on my way to work every day so I was always curious about it but never went until I had a crazy craving for quesadillas that wouldn’t be satisfied by Taco Bell or a generic restaurant. Something about this place seemed “real” so I figured “why not?” and went and I’m so glad I did. The prices were a little on the higher side but when I saw the amount of food I got I understood. I got quantity and quality food. I ended up changing my mind to get chicken nachos and it’s so good. Would definitely recommend.”

“Wanted to experience a real Haitian bakery. The atmosphere is homey and quaint. The service was on point and quick. The food was amazing order consisted of Haitian patties variety (spinach, beef, fish, chicken), call the champagne and Haitian cookies (the cookies were OK). Would definitely recommend if you want a quick bite to eat.”

“i've been eating here for over a decade, and ever since they had a new management, the food still tastes similar. However, I noticed that they've become cheap with their portions, it's a huge difference from before the management changed. I ordered food today, and I only got 2 small broccolis. I would've gotten wayyyyy more in the old management. Their portions are smaller, especially when you order beef. I also noticed they don't really give out that many sauces anymore lol. Overall, it's the same yummy, filling, familiar taste, but the portions aren't that good.”

“I’ve been a customer here for a long time and the food is great, as well as the service. Just wish there was a bit more. The lady who served me yesterday afternoon looks new so I didn’t get the portion of jerk chicken or oxtails I’d normally get. Other than that, I have no complaints.”

It’s giving river town cuz there was a walkway way in the middle that was raised a little. Also loved the aquarium.


Don’t know how I feel about the food. Everything was cooked well, well seasoned, and sauces were great. But I think some of the dishes were lacking depth. But that’s a minor critique.

“This place is fantastic!! The food flavorful and you’ll end up craving it a few days later. I highly recommend their spicy katsu chicken sandwich and their curry bowl. They have fun Japanese drinks, desserts and snacks as well. There is sometimes a long line but it goes quick. Definitely check this place out.”
