“The food is filling and the place though a little small has a lot of character. I pass this place on my way to work every day so I was always curious about it but never went until I had a crazy craving for quesadillas that wouldn’t be satisfied by Taco Bell or a generic restaurant. Something about this place seemed “real” so I figured “why not?” and went and I’m so glad I did. The prices were a little on the higher side but when I saw the amount of food I got I understood. I got quantity and quality food. I ended up changing my mind to get chicken nachos and it’s so good. Would definitely recommend.“

“There food is cooked well I have been a loyal customer for 2 years now, and I have not been disappointed at all by there services!

Def go for there beef fried rice with sesame chicken (ask for the sesame chicken to be crispy)“

“I’ve been a customer here for a long time and the food is great, as well as the service. Just wish there was a bit more. The lady who served me yesterday afternoon looks new so I didn’t get the portion of jerk chicken or oxtails I’d normally get. Other than that, I have no complaints.“

“Definitely recommend coming here for the experience if you love hotpot. Their food is not much different from other hotpot places, but what sets this place different than the rest is their service. The waiters are all super attentive and try to accommodate your requests as much as possible. If you come at the right times, they might even have performances and shows.“

It’s giving river town cuz there was a walkway way in the middle that was raised a little. Also loved the aquarium.


Don’t know how I feel about the food. Everything was cooked well, well seasoned, and sauces were great. But I think some of the dishes were lacking depth. But that’s a minor critique.

“This place is fantastic!! The food flavorful and you’ll end up craving it a few days later. I highly recommend their spicy katsu chicken sandwich and their curry bowl. They have fun Japanese drinks, desserts and snacks as well. There is sometimes a long line but it goes quick. Definitely check this place out.“

“Amazing food and service! We had 8 people so we got one of the private rooms. We ordered about 12 dishes and they all came out relatively fast. Definitely get the Peking duck; they cut the duck in front of you and display it really nicely. The Juqi fried rice is also really cool and represents the coal stoves of the past. 10/10 recommend this place, especially for large parties.“

I recently dined at Izakaya Nana, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The ambiance is cozy and refined, giving off an authentic Japanese vibe. Every dish was a masterpiece, but the standout for me was the tornado omelet fried rice. The fluffy, swirling omelet draped over perfectly seasoned fried rice was both a visual treat and incredibly flavorful. The sushi and sashimi were fresh and delicately prepared, and the ramen was rich and satisfying. The staff was friendly and attentive, offering great recommendations. A bit pricier, but absolutely worth it for the quality and unique experience. Highly recommend for a taste of Japan—don’t miss the tornado omelet!“

“I love Annam Brahma. I’m blessed to live nearby. The food is delicious, and the desserts are to die for.

Vegetarian options: Masala dosa is my favorite. It’s like a potato pancake and gluten free. Then there is the chapati roll up with lots of cooked vegetables inside and a salad. The taste is indescribable, and some of the dishes, if requested, have a touch of Indian spices.

Dietary restrictions: I am happy that they have many gluten free options. Annam Brahma has only vegetarian food. The desserts are homemade.“

We window-shopped pastries and bagels, but were determined to return for a more delectable & delicious meal. So worth the wait! The spicy Brussel Sprouts salad was creative, layered with flavor and just delicious! The Benedicts had poppin’ poached eggs and a delicate, lemony Hollandaise. Avocado toast was topped with goodies but kept forward the toasty crunch and creamy avocado base. A cheery cherry spritzer with rosemary sprig was beyond delicious- a must! “Had always heard great things and I can confirm that they hold up. They have some outdoor seating so we took advantage of that. Ordered the Sabry’s Combo (shrimp, calamari and salmon) which came with salad, bread and rice. Also got the mixed Tajine (shrimp and calamari) which was incredible. Definitely be sure to save your bread to dip on the Tajine. While we were waiting for our food, the owner popped his head out to say that they had a special soup that day so we decided to try it. It was Molokhia or green soup which had shrimp in it. Everything was delicious and I’ll definitely be coming back“

“Great local pho spot. Crispy spring rolls and rib eye summer rolls are delicious! Great way to start before my signature pho. There’s a method to my madness when mixing my pho but the base brother is excellent, deep and flavorful but still light.“

“I was there on a Sunday afternoon and it was surprisingly not very busy. The dining area is cafeteria style and there was plenty of seating available. I decided to go with the paneer butter Masala dosa since they only have it available on the weekends. I asked them to make it as mild as possible since South Indian food tends to be very spicy and I cannot handle the heat. The dosa was paper thin which is exactly what I wanted. The filling was delicious and I loved the coconut chutney sauce that came with it. I got the mango lassi drink and it was refreshing and delicious, just wish the drink portions were bigger. The food was very authentic South Indian and it tasted just like what I remember eating when I went to Kerala. This place is out of the way for me but I would definitely return if I'm in the area.

“We’ve been here several times, and they have the best Caesar salad in the city. As for the pizzas, I’m still undecided. You can’t go wrong with a classic, but the other options seem a bit lackluster. The dough is perfect but they can work on taste.
