“When a business does the right thing!! Last night 5/2 we ordered two pies. About 30-40 minutes go by… No pizza. Phone rings delivery guy asks for our address; he had it down wrong. Apologized and said he’d be right over. ANOTHER 30 minutes go by and we’re like hmmm hope the guys ok. He FINALLY shows up, we pay, he leaves. Now we’re ALL expecting cold soggy pizza right? NOPE!! He brought us two new FRESH HOT pizzas!! Outstanding business practice! Oh and the pizza was AMAZING! I think we just found our new go-to. Thank you to the delivery guy also!“

“Once you go to orto, you’ll keep coming back. From the bread pairings, the four course prefix.. everything tastes fresh and absolutely amazing. You can taste the care they put into their food. “I can not believe that this restaurant has been here on Main Street in Port Jefferson Village for over 20 years and I never ate there!!! This is my new Favorite place to eat. The food was exceptional and good size portions. The pita bread they put out on the table was so delicious I could have made that my meal. The service was extremely attentive and so personable. The Owner came around greeting everyone and made us feel like we were all family having dinner together. I am looking forward to my next visit.“

“So last night we order the islander combo normally the food is delious I don't know they where busy and rushing but the pizza was terriable small slices asked for half pepperoni on one of the pizzas n it was placed on there n got garlic knots they where burnt n the sauce literally was all oil ! “Joey Z's has some of the best breakfast around! I always enjoy coming here for consistently good food and quick service. I had the banana pancakes (which are my go-to) and my mom had the Eggs Benedict which came with potatoes. The staff and owner are so kind and make you want to keep coming back!“

“Met some friends here on a Wednesday night. Our first time here and it won't be my last. First impression was very nice atmosphere when we walked in. Service was tremendous. When we arrived, we were greeted promptly and throughout our dinner multiple people had come around asking if anything was needed including the manager a few times. Food was excellent. A variety basket of fresh breads was set down and we started and shared the calamari which was flavorful and seemed perfectly cooked. Wasn't squishy or rubbery which would be the adjectives I'd use at some other places. I can't remember the name of the dish I had but it included house-made pasta, diced chicken and brown sauce. It was delicious. I'll be coming back with my wife and daughter very soon.“

The margarita pizza and the vodka pie are both great.I was prompted to review with 5 stars because i ordered a ginger ale, and they didnt have any. Not only did they read the order instructions and replace it with a sprite, they also left an apology note on my drink! “We had the veal parmesan, chicken parmesan and a brick oven pizza with the works and it was very, very good. The atmosphere is also nice, the owner came around and checked on us and even bought us limoncello as a cordial! The service is also very good and attentive. Highly recommended.“

“I had dined at Stella Trattoria only once before, at Christmastime 2022. I can’t for the life of me figure out why I didn’t get back there sooner. This restaurant is spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. We were seated immediately upon arrival, & had drinks in less than 5 minutes. Our waitress, Julie, was the best. The food was nothing short of wonderful! It arrived at the table hot, in very generous portions, and was absolutely delicious! When I took out my “doggie bag” to enjoy a second dinner, I found Julie had marked all our containers making it easy to identify the contents, as well as making sure everything came home, sauce and all! Each one of our party of four thoroughly enjoyed their dinner. Stella Trattoria is FINE DINING.“

“Recently visited with friends for lunch. Table service was excellent with server explaining the specials along with recommendations on the basic menu items. Dining area was clean and overall ambiance simple but appealing. Ordered the chicken roll which they specifically cooked for me and a vegetable which were cooked to perfection. Overall service was great. Server checked up on us multiple times and we felt right at home, not rushed at all. Restaurant located on the main road but entrance and parking are behind the strip center off Hawkins.“

“I kept going for pizza alone and most recently started trying the various pasta dishes. There are so many other places in the surrounding area that are well known with a lot more space for indoor dining. I would hands down choose Isabella's for the amount of food you receive and the taste (small space to dine in, but we do take out). My son is a bit of an Italian food addict and we were trying different places to keep it interesting. I just can't believe how good the food is and the price at Isabella's. Why go out of my way to try other places when I have found our favorite? “We went to Mannino’s tonight for the first time. The hostess was welcoming and our server and wait staff were friendly and polite. We enjoyed our drinks and appetizers to start. The food was amazing my husband had the Bronzini and me and my daughter-in-law had Seafood Fra Diavolo, my son had a plain chicken cutlet which they did for him when we asked for just a plain breaded chicken cutlet no sauce or cheese. “I came in there over the summer with my wife and my grandson, Gerald. We were greeted by a young lady by the name of Brooke. Let me tell ya, she was a wonderful waitress to mi familia y yo! She brightened up out dinner experience and made the whole restaurant glow with positivity. I have never experienced such amazing service in my 73 years of life. I especially want to thank her for being nice to my grandson. he has severe autism and she was just a doll! She even sang him happy birthday (he was turnin 7).
